Remember Jim Cornette saying that the Steiners would pick on and haze almost anyone in the WCW locker room, but wouldn’t dare rib Ron Simmons. It’s said that Simmons was up there with Harley Race and Rick Rude in badass stakes. And then there’s Haku…

I was in attendance for this all 3 days. The numbers by far for the entire event were lower than the previous years. They normally have a kumite tournament which adds even more people that attend but, didn't have that this past October. There wasn't even a line to get autographs or pics with any of the wrestlers. Ted DiBiase and IRS were there as well.

The awesome irony of this is that I was just watching doom vs the Steiner Brothers and I swear on everything that I know, Scott Steiner defied gravity in those bouts, He did a reverse ◀️ screwdriver and a reverse suplex on Ron Simmons and Butch that seemed physically impossible. Everyone that I have shown it to lately says holy shhh how did Steiner do that. Keep in mind Scotty was thinner back then, STILL yoked with long dark hair but a super athletic individual perhaps the most athletic in wrestling history at that particular time. Ron was roughly 275 lbs pure muscle 💪 and butch was roughly 300 solid mass as well Scott was only around 245 flipped backwards with ron in his arms and landed perfectly, same thing that he did with Butch.

Damn ron is still in phenomenal shape too. Both phisically AND mentally (which is not so obvious considering all the bumps these guys took). Good to see these legends taking good care of their bodies unlike so many others that fall down through the drugs or alcohol pitfall. Altho i think the interviewer did mostly good, i feel like jimmy heart was a bit left out on some questions. I understand he could not speak as much as the in ring work, but on some questions he definitely could have contributed too, but he was just skipped on. Or at least that's the feel i got. Even jimmy i think started noticing right away when he spoke about his music career when the host introduced them.

Maybe Jimmy Hart is mistaken when he meant “Wolfpac Music” because I want to know how he got C-Murder to rap the lyrics. I think he meant just the original NWO music?

  • @abyzmul

He actually did do the Wolfpac music. He's listed in the credits as the songwriter. I don't know who got C-Murder though.
