Not even close just cuz they finally slap in a gm mode in it doesnt means anything. 06 and 07 were the best having the challenge modes, trophies and belt showcase, locker room and all the unlockables that came with it.

I hope they make it so that when you choose your character you can choose from a selection of attires too. That would be really cool.

I grew up playing wrestling games and it's a shame they lost their way but this looks like it deserves a chance to get me back in the game

It doesn't even look like the roster cuts will be a problem because you can briefly see Murphy in the MyRise portion of the trailer. So it looks like all the released wrestlers from April 'till now will still be in the game. That's what I hope because they said one DLC for the game (idk if it's been scrapped or not) revolved around Bronson Reed and I'm a huge Reed fan. I'm glad he landed in New Japan.

Be awesome if back stage is more immersed if we're able to create our own faction. Example: see the medical staff, live interviews, the makeup / dress staff, share the locker room with team to use weights/ treadmill/ vending machine.

Those dumbasses will never put that much effort into a wrestling game. If Rockstar was making wrestling games then we would of been had something like this. Or maybe even San Diego studios lol

I was never big into WWE, but I enjoyed some of the PS2 era games. The career aspect and wrestler creation/customization was always fun even as a non-wrestling fan. The graphics stand out in this trailer, it'd be amazing if there were actually a WWE game with great graphics and gameplay in the modern era

Ok, I'm sold. Creation Suite is going to need to be top notch though because of all the released wrestlers.

If I was a game designer and work with 2k I will definitely have a discussion with my team to have agreements with wwe and add a alumni salon list similar to the website but on wwe 2k22 like that you can play as the superstar that have been released that fan love for example kross scarlett stroman morison bray wyatt niya jax it will feel even more different and fans will love it I know I will but that's just me.

This is actually amazing. They have literally added everything people have been begging for for years. All that’s left is to add is road to wrestle mania and wwe games will be one of the top games on people’s lists when shopping for games

I’m glad that they brought back the real pictures of the wrestlers in the selection screen and not having the terrible looking computer versions of them

Game looks great hopefully the roster is great. I think the last wwe game i had was like 2k14. And the last time I actually watched WWE on TV was like 2011. So it would be nice if they include as many big name legends as possible for the older community.

I agree but it’s a headache since many of the wrestlers are not contracted, and they need the rights to a lot of the music. Costing them tons of money and legal issues. Which is why I think it won’t happen

Lets hope the game will play well when it comes out, if it doesn't I'm sticking with 2K19

Hope that the gore sistem is a new one, and the blood more realistic. And don't need 100 hits to start bleeding out

I'm more accustomed to the older 2K controls particularly 2K19 hopefully they can let us switch to the older controls as an option.

If Rey Rey is the center for the 2K showcase, that’s potential for a lot of legends involved in the game. Off the top of my head, 02-03 versions of Lesnar, Undertaker, Cena. And of course, the Late Great Eddie Guerrero

Really does hit different. Just hoping there aren't anymore setbacks for one and I hope that the graphics really do hit different. So far it looks to me like how 2k20 should've looked instead of a next gen game. Fingers crossed though. Thank you, 2K.
