If your dad/uncle/grandpaw was a successful athlet since you were born, Bringing you around his environment, preparing for his environment ,after years of seeing the hottest talent, and learning how to prepare, by the time you are 13, you know what you’re going to be. Not only would you be that. you have a head start on guys who don’t come from that background. You have decades of years of experience by the age of 24 you know that game inside and out. The rest is really up to you at that point. Most of the work is done bc it’s in your blood.

Keep in mind late 90's wrestling was different from early 90's and before wrestling. The backstage was a pit of vipers. You had to politic, to backstab, to double deal or get eaten alive. That sort of environment breeds hostility. Is it any wonder Flair, Hogan and HBK have enemies? Hell, 1998 HBK is an entirely different person from 2003 and later HBK.

People saying how good of a guy he is, how humble, how he never disrespected and appreciated everyone... Then after his marriage falls apart there's not a bitter divorce battle but they go into business together and don't even hire lawyers. Plus he's all about his family when a lot of big celebs dont even talk to or about their families and exes...Just an absolute legend in every possible regard... The Great One definitely fits.

"Wrestlers Discuss Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson" (except Vince Russo, who talks about what *he* did). What a dick. One of the funniest, yet short - lived "promo wars" for me was when The Rock was giving somebody (can't remember who) heat for "...going to the WCW to wrestle guys named 'JUVENTUD!!'" Juvie really tried hard to answer with his own promo but failed miserably because his English was, unfortunately, too broken to make any sense.

Rocky Johnson said he was benching 550... I doubt it. 550lbs seems like an exaggeration... I mean Doug Furnas best bench was 600lbs (when he was 275lbs and Rocky was only around 240) Furnas was a top powerlifter - considered one of the most dominant 275lb lifter in history (says it on his wiki) so it's hard to believe that Johnson was really benching that much.

The main problem I have with the rock is how he would constantly comeback and win the title then drop it at the next ppv, then go to film another movie. Summerslam 2002 is a perfect example. And it happened many other times as well. that’s the big reason why some of the fans started turning on him they were sick of it. And it also opened the door for many other part timers to do the same shit. I don’t respect the rock for that at all, he’s the one who started this whole part timer craze in the wwe where part timers just comeback and win the title and then leave.
