Wrapping a Bathroom Vanity Cabinet

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

You can wrap a vehicle, you can wrap a wall, you can wrap a floor! So why not wrap a cabinet!? That was my question so I decided to try it and the outcome was a major surprise! (a good one!)
In this video I wrap an entire bathroom vanity and countertop with self-adhesive vinyl wrap. I used 3M 40C which is used on exterior and interior surfaces, vehicles, etc. I printed the designs using Hi-Res photos purchased online and printed using an HP Latex large format printer.
I was worried about longevity, but I'm thinking this is going to last a lot longer than I originally hoped. It's been a couple of weeks so far and the cabinet and counter just look flawless. I've been a professional contractor for my whole life and I can stand directly in front of this cabinet and it looks just like real wood and real marble.
I'm amazed. The real test for whether or not this would be an actual go-to solution is how long it lasts. I guess I'll find out!

Thanks! The wrap is 3M 40C in a matte finish... it's been on there for over a month now and still looks perfect.

cocospops everything still looks pretty much like new. There was some chemical of some sort that got on the counter and removed a spot of ink maybe the size of a dime, but since the base material is white and the pattern had very light elements in the design, it blends. You don't notice it at all. Otherwise it's perfect and the cabinet still looks great too. Much of this durability is related to the HP Latex ink which is a very durable large format ink. Thanks for asking.
