In this video I show you how I used peel and stick vinyl to change the color of my bathroom vanity.
Vinyl wrap is often used in the home on wood cabinets, furniture, and table tops. Seeing as bathroom vanities are similar to wood cabinets, I figured it would be a great way to avoid having to paint!
The whole project is very easy to do, inexpensive, and very renter friendly since it is reversible.

You explained this project well- thank you for details about hot air, your few missteps, aligning the paper. I Was looking for alternative to painting our vanity . You’re right about not adhering the vinyl inside because your guests shouldn’t be looking inside in the first place 🤣
It's funny how the young people are calling this a "trend". Covering stuff with contact paper, or "mac'tac" as we call in some places in Canada, has been done for years. My mother used to cover stuff, ie bureau drawers etc, with this stuff way back in the 1970's. Your cabinent looks great, by the way.
Great job! A tip if you ever do this again is to look inside the cabinet where the top front panels are. There is usually plastic clips to remove them. Then you can wrap them like you did your doors.
Your clarity makes my confusion disappeared. Much appreciated and good luck!
So glad I found your channel. Well presented, explained and straight to the point. Thanks!
loved your latest project, I might give it a try. These are steps I can follow. Can't wait for your new video
My Grandma left me her house when she passed away. It needs a major a makeover given she bought the house in 1991. I've been doing esthetics mostly rearranging, putting my stuff in and storing her outdated furniture lol my grandma knew her stuff was outdated and she wanted a makeover when she was alive too. I thought about staining the cupboards to a darker wood color but this vinyl is a new idea. I guess it comes down to affordability for me. I would like the kitchen done, hallway cabinets, and two restrooms. I'd like to do my counter tops as well and cover up this 1991 style counter tops they're hideous. Cool video, you made me brainstorm some ideas and to get on it.

This was right ON TIME for me. Thanks dude. I am so doing this now. Subscribed.
Thanks for doing this, great job!
I loved it when you said "I don't care" :) Regarding the inside of the vanity. I'm with you :)
You did a great job👍
It came out well enough. I think you'd made our life easier if you had removed the two panels in front. and if you had used one piece for the doors.
You did an awesome job!!!
Good job!!! Looks great, thank you...
Thank you so much! Got everything in hand now! I'm still worried because I need to do a 5ft. vanity countertop.....around a sink 😬 My measuring skills aren't up to par for sure. But you've given me some confidence! Thanks again!
And that is because “I do not care.” 😂 GENIUS!

Water doesn't drip on it but it's holding up well with shower humidity!
Does steam from the shower cause any of the vinyl to separate or lift up?

It hasn't yet! I'm pretty impressed by the adhesive. I take pretty short showers though

@@tmulcahy7869 no problem! The cool part about this is that it is cheap and totally reversible. If it peels off it'll look like it did before

@@Ettore I don't have an exhaust fan in my bathroom to help with the steam, and I love long showers. I might still try it. Like you stated. It is reversible.

@@tmulcahy7869 I normally don't turn on my exhaust fan either. I'm pretty impressed with the adhesive so far, just make sure to really press in those edges while doing this
Look 👍
