Thanks. Building machines from everyday objects is a specialty of mine. I think I was insprired from seeing the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang when I was a kid.

I think that was Schnitt doing a commercial. Depending on time of day, that was either Rush or the Schnitt show though.

Your mosquito is a lot easier to build than the big wheel versions :) I have a design that will paste 2"-6" shells and costs less than $65 to build. It uses a glue applicator to apply wheatpaste/pva glue to both sides of the tape, it can handle standard 8" rolls of gummed tape or much cheaper kraft paper tape cut from a roll with a saw ;)

Now that's a pot of pyro soup right there! lol That is some wonderful work right there. What made you think to use a pot for the body/framework of the system? You are certainly one creative individual, there is nothing better than seeing some class A pyrogenuity bravo!

Nice work! Are you sharing how you built it, or are you selling them? I am very interested in building one. Thanks!

It is kind of a PITA to make one of these and it still has some quirks that need to be worked out. I have an alternate design that is easier to build but not as easily adjustable. Once I settle on a design I will probably sell plans or sell them outright-- one or the other.
