She also plays piano & at 17 just incredible Like Elvis, I think she’s gonna explode on the music scene! I there’s a better female singer out there, haven’t seen her. Love your reactions! She plays guitar, piano, violin and flute. This Masterpiece is a direct nod to Elvis '68 Comback Tour, right down to the red guitar. Her Grandmother Mery's hand can be seen in the fantastic production details( she's listed in the beginning credits). Only Angelina could take on such an iconic Elvis hit and make it as incredible as this!

Hi Maddy 👋. That was a wonderful reaction to 16 Angelina. Angelina sometimes puts Easter eggs in her little videos. Like the hair was for Priscilla, the guitar and black she wore was for Elvis comeback tour. Even the babies (her cousins) and her little sister Juliette were for Lisa and herself growing up in the public eye, etc. Also remember that she never sings a song even her originals the same way twice. Her Grandma, Mery Zamani, helped produced this. She used the same store (Melrose Gallery in L.A.) she used for her My Funny Valentine and I Have Nothing videos. Her sister Juliette was the older girl and the 2 younger girls are her Uncle Mike's kids. 2- time Grammy winner Rob Christie is on piano once again. He is also the music director of Republic Records, the music company she is signed with. The beehive hairstyle was to honor Priscilla Presley and the time period she met Elvis. The black suit and red guitar was a classic look for Elvis from his comeback concert. What a performance and homage to The King!

The 2 youngest girls in white dresses are her Uncle's daughters (Her 1st cousins) and the older girl is Angelina's younger sister. Angelina's guitar and leather jumpsuit are a tribute to Elvis and her hairstyle is a tribute to Elvis's wife Priscilla! The location is an antique store. They used the same store for another video for Angelina. 🎶🎶👱‍♀👱‍♀👗👗👠👠❤❤

Yeah unfortunately Priscilla had turned into a gold digger and has told many lies about Elvis in order to enrich herself. The only benefit for us Presley fans is his GRACELAND which is a beautiful historic home, one of the very best if not THE BEST home museums in the nation. Elvis would have LOVED the way Angelina changed up the tempo. I could see therm collaborating on this.

@@shanialover Priscilla sold a book of lies about Elvis. She destroyed her family and took millions that does not belong to her from LisaMarie. SHE ISN'T EVEN ALLOWED TO USE the PRESLEY NAME. Elvis put that in his will. She does it anyway to promote herself and collect paychecks, She is NOT ELVIS' widow.

That opening phrase is so full, rich, chocolaty even. I love the story of this song and the tenderness it needed to be heard.

This video was a family affair, with her Grandmother Mery Zamani as Ex-Producer, her Uncle Mike's two daughters, and her sister Juliette as the young girl growing up. The symbolism from the dust flying off the piano representing the past, Elvis's Black jumpsuit, and the red guitar he played during his come-back tour in1968, to Priscilla Presley's hairdo was pure genius in storytelling. Most of all Angelina sang in a deeper mature voice drawing you into "Suspicious Minds", told through Priscilla's perspective during their troubled marriage, by slowing down the song's tempo and allowing the lyrics to tell the story. You found my favorite Maddy. My thoughts on this, Yeah! She’s something special, isn’t she? Power & Pure Velvet Perfection! This vocal arrangement was all Angelina, I have no doubt in collaboration with a stellar team including Rob Christie & Mery Zamani her Grandmother. She is a Master Storyteller. The video is shot in the same Antique Store that she did 'My Funny Valentine' on Valentine’s Day. I believe it is in LA near her home. I believe the girls in the video represent Angelina's Journey from infancy to present through the classics of music history. Thus the Antique store, She grew up studying and performing these classics. That is Rob Christie on piano. Sister Juliette and a couple of Uncle Michael's Babies. I think that makes them cousins not nieces. Full Black Leather Bodysuit, the guitar from his concert in 68 and the hair a homage to Priscilla Presley. Yeah! She can bring tears to your eyes. I base my interpretation on my knowledge of Angelina's journey from an 18 month old little girl singing a "classic" of music history 'I Will Always Love You' . She has been listening to these classics on repeat on YOU Tube since then under the guidance and inspiration of her Grandmother Mery Zamani. She has been performing these classics since her first time in studio at 6 yrs old.. She has continued this journey through her 1st introduction to the world with her "Classic'" 'Gloomy Sunday’ and following with her many performances at her many Jazz Festivals, TV performances, Concerts, and charity events, studio recordings and practice sessions at home accompanied or not. The location in the Antique store represents these classics (like the furniture) of another era. To me she portrays wonder at all these classics surrounding her. as she has travelled this road. Her tribute to Elvis is at her present age, today, each stage represented by her cousins and sister and ending with Angelina herself on the couch still admiring all this history surrounding her. The beautiful rendition of the song, and other tributes are in the leather outfit, Guitar and hair a tribute to Priscilla. Just my interpretation but it makes the most sense to me. ♥👣👸🏻

Absolutely what I expected. She made this her own song and she did it beautifully. I noticed Angelina’s sister Juliet sitting there, she is going to be as beautiful as Angelina one day. Elvis' version is great, and it still is one of my favorites. but Angelina's version is equally great and is definitely her own. When I first heard this song I loved it and put it at #3 on my playlist (Angelina Jordan Playlist by Terry M.), about midday I moved it up to #1. The main thing that changed my mind was the power in her voice. I'm not talking about loudness I'm talking about the power she has regardless of how loud or soft she sings. This is a quality that I haven't heard from anyone in my 83 years. This voice has become so unique that it is totally unmatched. Her phrasing in the last bridge is great. And she got Elvis’s ‘Oh Yea’ at the end of the song. The pianist is Rob Christie (3 Grammys), he is the head of the Republic Record department that is responsible for Angelina and other singers. The two small kids are her uncle Mike's kids, and the older girl is Angelina's sister. She loves to tell a story and get to the heart of the meaning of a song and this is her masterful rendition. A tribute to Elvis .Priscilla hair ,Elvis leather jacket and guitar . Maddy thanks..a heart felt reaction. So many thoughts. First Mark James wrote, recorded and released his song in 1968, one year before Elvis released his rendition. I feel the meaning of Mark's lyrics more in Angelina's rendition. This video was filmed in this friend of Angelina's family's LA antique store also used in "My Funny Valentine" and "I Have Nothing". Cole McCarthy, director, used the video as an homage to Elvis' "Comeback TV Special" and Mery Zamani, Angelina's grandma/mentor, the executive producer, used (IMHO) the video as an homage to Angelina's musical development. The 3 young girls, 2 younger are Angelina's cousins and the older girl is Angelina's younger sister Juliette. A musical masterpiece both vocally and Angelina's arrangement.

This is AJs tribute to Elvis from her black leather jumpsuit to his red guitar that he played on his 1968 comeback tour, the song it self charted in 1969.. the beehive hair do the Percilla wore, the blue suede shoes on the couch, the three little girls (AJs cousins, and the older one AJs little sister Juliette) the girls and representing Lisa Marie Presley growing up in the glitz and glamor of Graceland (the setting) and Rob Christy 2time Grammy winner playing the piano,,,, Grandma Mery produced this music video.

The baby and very little girl are Angelina's cousins - the preteen girl is Angelina's sister Juliette and the Piano Player is Rob Christie Director of the Republic Records Los Angeles Studio which is the record label that Angelina has been signed with since she was 14 years old.

Well, then some facts Angelina plays not only the guitar, but also the piano, violin and flute. Regarding where she is in this clip, it is about her grandmother's antique shop, which influenced Angelina the most at a young age and made her show her talent in music. Her grandmother is an artist and many of the clothes and pictures you will see later when she sings are her grandmother's 🦶🦶👑🗣🎙🎷

Angelina plays guitar and piano , this performance is mostly for piano , just a little guitar its a tribute to elvis so the use of guitar , she mostly makes use of expert piano and guitar players for her performances except for her tik tok and the occasional live performances but i don't believe she at a leval of those experts just yet maybe the future . the piano player is " rob Christie " studio director republic records and mentor to angelina 2 time Grammy winner .

Mark James wrote and first recorded suspicious minds , elvis was looking for a song , Mark James obliged it was to be elvis last number 1 .

Elvis' rendition was not so much about the message as it was to entertain the fans and interact with the audience. He could have done it in a more meaningful way, as Angelina did. He had the voice and could grab your heart with it. If I'm going to put this song on my playlist to listen to, it will be Angelina's version. That's pretty much the case with any cover she has done. No apologies.
