Seems like lawmakers have been making decisions for their economic interests instead of listening to the people and using facts or common sense.

Texas will save oil and gas companies. We will change all laws and bring back energy independence.

Ain't so such thing as energy independence. There never has been. BTW this country produced more oil in 2022 and 2023 than it did in 2019.

Propaganda funded by OPEC and big oil. No different than digging up a few doctors in the 1960's and 70's saying their "research" showed smoking didn't cause health problems because there was no direct link.

Probably in an EV unaware that it takes crude oil to produce, while acting like their superior.

That's ridiculous. Thomas Edison read by candle light and worked by gaslight developing the electric light bulb. Just because someone participates in the world as it is doesn't disqualify them from improving it.

@@TheCrimsonRanger You really don't get it do you? It's all about REDUCING emissions. When you reduce demand the price for fossil fuel needed for heavy equipment and aviation will go down. It's a win all around. smh

@@user-qn4zh2pw6m that's ridiculous. Imposing EVs on ppl, without sufficient infrastructure, and the ability to charge them in cold weather, during the winter ... that may not disqualify you from making your improvements, but don't IMPOSE your imperfections on us until you've ironed out your kinks

No one is HALTING fossil fuel production. It's fading away. New cleaner energy production is what the world wants to BUY!!!!!! It's the future, it's where the money is, and it's just those few large investors and owners who have been controlling the energy industry for decades that make political donations standing in the way of progress.
