I first got this tank after a month of playing blitz, i sucked at that time and was still learning and tier 10 was a terrifying concept to me. Now, after playing in tier 8 and figuring out the play styles of every class (bourassque for meds, 13 90 for lights, T34-29-32 for heavies and Su-130PM [my most played tank at 480 battles :D] for tank destroyers; playing the chieftain mk.6 comes easy to me now

I wouldnt say the bourassque is the best medium to choose to learn the medium playstyle as its more of a light, its very fast with a good power to weight but it has pretty much no armour compared to other tier 8 mediums like the defender mk 1 , wz-122m etc.

I hope wargaming give mk6 hd texture soon , cus this tank deserve it , already in the game for quite a long time and still considered as the best T10 heavy tank , if wargaming give mk6 hd texture this tank Will become more beautiful, and great video as always droodles 👍👍

I actually got this tank from one of the "Collect em' All" boxes at a discount of 500g and it was 1000% worth it. I really enjoy this tank, once I learned how to play it haha.

Got the Mk. 6 in a crate for ike $5 or so. I love ther tank and am still learning to play it efficiently. Thanks Droodles for your amazing video's and insights into these tanks

I tried it before and the chances of hesh penning a mk 6 cupola with a mk 6 is like 2 in 10 shots? Also even fv183 hesh can fail to pen the cupola or maybe its cuz he didn't aim

I never bought anything in auction everything is much expensive. and people buy good tanks fast!

I like it? But I still prefer the concept 1b over the mk6. I know the concept doesn’t have great pen but it’s way better hull down and can hold its own.

best t10 for credit grinding for sure and i think its worth the 20 dollar/euro.. who wants to wait 1 year lol. still hard to decide for me if calibrated shells or gun rammer, the 0.5 seconds makes a big difference somehow in this tank

I think Chieftain deserve buff. Buff the turret armor you can't get penned trought front of it ( even Sheridan penned me there with ease ). And also make the cupola stronger so you can't get penned with HE. Keep the same size but give it more armor

Imo the Chieftain should get a turret armor buff at least. Side armor is already so pathetic you can't sidescrape in it, then the turret has so many weak spots a blind man can penetrate it. It already has a huge cupola that's easy to hit even when the tank is in hulldown so does it really need that weak part above the gun mauntoet? I even get penned trough the god damn mauntlet

DUUDE Chief is not made for sidescraping. You’re a fool for trying to play it as a regular HT…it’s the perfect Heavium for supporting MT/LT wolfpacks, and it’s designed for medium-like purposes. It’s not an Astartes for direct frontline shock assault, its a Spartan II for surgical lethal attacks from the sides.

@@LJChannn334 I don't have to sidescrape in a tank to tell if it sucks at it. I can see the armor thickness in the tank's description. I can see the effective thickness of the armor from any angle thanks to blitzstars. It is very far from the perfect heavium, an E50M could 1v1 it and win without much trouble. Regarding your comparison, you can't really generalize the Astartes, there are chapters that don't specialize in frontline combat, and Saprtan IIs while often working behind enemy lines, they also find themselves on the frontlines too.

@@ronindraco4194 heavium ofc can’t win against a proper medium(50M’s quite Heavy-ish but it’s still medium in bones. What I mean is that it’s perfect for helping mediums to breakthrough, like when you’re pushing in a general medium, which heavy would you like to back you up and go alongside you? A 113 which greatly prefers flat terrain? An E5 with not enough DPM to keep up with your attacking pace? A Type which is too intimidating that opponents immediately slips away without being punished(whilst sharing DPM problem with E5)? A Super Conqueror/215b which is too slow to keep up? A Concept/E6 which itself is extremely rarely seen? Or do you want a Chieftain with just about everything to keep up with you in every situation?

@@LJChannn334 If i had to choose which tank I should take to support med side, I'd rather take a super conqueror than a chieftain. Not as mobile, but gets the job done, it can survive much longer if shit hits the fan, and it can carry games much easier, not to mention it isn't an HE magnet. But for your information, I have all the tanks that you have listed and all of them can do a chieftain's job on the medium side better.
