The Brits specifically designed this tank to be used from hulldown positions, so it fits perfectly its real world role

Once i bought the chieftain i absolutely loved it so i decided to buy the super conq so i can have both of the British hts. These tanks are just so flexible and u gotta love that hesh.

Imagine how op the mk6 was when it first came out

@@greg6162 best of luck mate. I just got in a caret by fluke. It was a random tank box with some other things, so could have got any tank from t5 to t10. I’ve finally got enough credits to maximise the performance. Played 3 battles so far and my teams have been useless. Really gutted so far as I have high hopes lol I’m sure my performance will improve. But I’m the same as you mate. Excited to play it. It has so many positive reviews!

Droodles, you forgot to mention that st emil has 15 degrees of gun depression while rating all tier 7s.

I've bought a single crate for 750 gold during an event and got this beauty right away...been enjoying it ever since!

Sometimes when I play this tank I get a lot of bounces on the turret. Other times I get penned every time

You shouldn’t rely on the armor in this tank. The hatch is super weak and easy to pen. So as Droodles said, if you face good players you’ll get penned every time in the hatch

I’ve been playing this tank lately in an attempt to learn how to better use it. I’ve been really enjoying it for the most part.

The hatch on the Mk6 reminds me of a navy sailor hat in armor inspector PS: love the Mk6

You have a bit less pen than the other t10 brit heavies, but with the hefty dpm advantage you can run calibrated shells and boost your shell velocity which goes a long way towards fixing your gun problems. I'm usually happy to trade a little dpm for pen especially with a hull down heavy, you will pen more shots when you stick your neck out, besides the less often you peek and poke, the less you get shot in the hatch.

A year or so ago I lucked out and got the mk6, 90p, t22, and the 30b for around $20 Canadian and I’m still happy about the one time I got some cheap crates I got quite a handful

I love this tank not for the mobility (which is good), not for the armor, but for the gun. Imo it’s the best or competing best 120mm gun in this game. It’s like the Leo 1’s gun but upgunned and given to a heavy. It is so accurate. The only reason I ever miss a shot is because of me, not the tank

its upper plate is an auto ricochet even if Ho Ri had 999 mm pen, it still will bounce it as its AP, only high pen heat can pen that

Just bought vk90. Use HE, saw weak area under mk6 gun. Successfuly 200+ damage. Enough for low health killing through face...

i bought a box for 1.5k gold during the last snowglobe event and got the snowglobe then from it i got the chieftain mk6 :)

The super conq is supposed to be a brawling heavy but the upper plate is much weaker than on the chieftain and if u fight stuff like is7 or e100 that know where to pen the s conq in a facehug, u will get rejt

The chiefs penetration isn’t the best but it isn’t the worst it’s passed by the IS-4 in prem pen but it surpasses The IS-7 and WZ-113 (I think) in premium penetration

To sum up 14 minutes: yes.

Super Conqueror is better hulldown tank. You can poke your turret confidently & Concept 1B? yeah that's even immune to HE shell

For me the mark 6 is a scam tank, if u check the stat, it have 350MM turret armor, like any normal ppl will think (ah, solid) but no, always use this tank on rating, competitive player always know where to hit this tank and its gg ez.....I really think this tank need a buff on its armor, the cupola ffs is HE able like at least make it solid like the Super conqueror....plus the ammorack and driver on this tank, horrible, I have MORE ammorack on this tank than the legendary meme IS7 and 60tp....Buff it or the time that type 71 hirohito tank come, the Mark 6 become irrelevant and dead....

Mk6 is still a great tank, definitely the one who revolutionized the MBT designs IRL. However, IRLcounter part is basically Garbage. Like literally Garbage, the engine was design to be so called “Post Nuclear War” design where they need to adapt to all types of fuels to be operate. You’ll alrd knows why this is a bad idea. There is not tank design even a Morden day stadards to use all Fuels. Chieftain first use was basically break down rightaway and sometimes the engine catches on fire. It also cant drive under its own power. But it do revolutionize the Morden MBT designs. The tank is good in game because it doesn’t need to care all of these things. But I do like the chieftain designs. It literally sat right next of STB design. It just good looking and curvy ye know. Not angular like Abrams were but still, curve.

Most nato tanks that don't use a V shape, opposed, or inline cylinder design, are capable of excepting any combustible fuel.

For British tank, that's not a hatch or cupola. Only crown. Just like their king/queen

super conq more forgiving for average player

The fact that watching you bounce so many shells in a row led me to laugh at all our "bad" luck. Definition of crazy is expecting to get a different result by doing the same things repeatedly. I've been trolling wargaming in the play store reviews section; edit history log has a plethora of hilarious rants from me. Generic responses bar one; I apparently made their team giggle. Perhaps forcing us to bend over backwards each game, ignoring the obvious flaws, is their idea of a Russian joke.

U switch to HEAT , u can pen the turret easy

If u can average 2k with it, then yes its good for creds...much more worth it than any tier 8 premium

Everytime I buy a tank in the game for conventional money(especially the more pricey ones) I always ask myself “did I just spend $$$ on a dumb mobile tank game”

As a Chief player with 2k games, I can say somehow it dissatisfied me. First, the mobility is not that good despite its stats, which sometimes I feel that my IS4 accelerates faster than it. The underpowered engine of Chief really hurts (perhaps it was because I am used to play tanks with powerful engines(e.g. E5, 50M, E75, T29…)) second, Chief has no room for error. Hull armor is bad, even the UFP can only bounce shells when faced directly towards the enemy(I tried many times peeking out to shoot with confidence that I only exposed my UFP and turret, only to take a big hit when I immediately duck back into cover after the shot RIGHT ON THE UFP) even the turret is not reliable enough (I know the cupola, but that’s not the case) cuz Chief has a low profile, the angling of the turret was always mitigated by people with high pen guns (Ho Ri, Jg…) they just butter through certain spots DIRECTLY THROUGH THE FRONT. Shame this is not the Chief on PC which has a ridiculous turret…not to mention if people sees you hulldown and not penetrable, they just HE spam you. (Screw the 60tps) I admit I am not a good player, but still I wish WG to give it some love in the form of a more powerful engine (at least 800+ HP default)

@@greg6162 I got my during the Christmas Globe event and just disappointed at how it performs. It gets ripped apart and the default ammo is APCR which the 2 degrees of normalization adds another nail to the coffin!

Still good? Bruh if u have MK6. U literally have the best DPM hts on tier X.. Imagine have great Depression with strong turret and 6+ sec reload time... If you still says this tank still good? I'm gonna tell my mom

A month late but hope this still applies. You can get this tank through special events (e.g this Christmas maybe) in which this tank would be on sale in store. Though I wouldn’t recommend getting it as of currently as it‘a quiet underpowered. The armour is non existent as it gets butted through by everyone (specifically with the giant ass hatch on top that could be penned with HE!) the penetration is quiet subpar as I myself find it difficult to penetrate heavies at the same tier (even when loading gold). And speed isn’t all that great to get out of situations (except for traverse from being outmanoeuvred). The few things this tank has going for it is the guns accuracy, and rate of fire but other that everything else isn’t that great. Unless you’re an experienced player, I seriously wouldn’t recommend it as it’ll get frustrating (as I learnt that the hard way). I just hope that in the future WG would give it pbr and buff it.
