@@amandapanda6963 In the book the slow moving zombies work because there are MILLIONS just shoulder to shoulder...In the novel all the zombies from the east coast are slowly making their way was across the plains so the survivors are trying to prepare and stop them through the rocky mountain passes. It's like death personified, just slowly moving closer. You can run but you can't hide. There are so many, people run out of ammo and in some places they go back to ancient tactics. They scrap every car in the non effected areas and make "Lobo's" Lobotomizer's. Basically a spear with a shovel like blade that cuts through the bridge of the nose.

got nothing on Keanu Reeves though.... When I was younger, maybe junior high, I got roped into watching my 3 month old niece while my sister got her hair done. So when there i am, sitting in the waiting area of a hair salon with my niece and who walks in but Keanu Reeves. I was nervous as fuck, and just kept looking at him, as he read a magazine and waited, but didn't know what to say. Pretty soon though my niece started crying, and I'm trying to quiet her down because I didn't want her to bother Keanu, but she wouldn't stop. Pretty soon he gets up and walks over. He started running his hands through her hair and asking what was wrong. I replied that she was probably hungry or something. So, Keanu put down his magazine, picked up my niece and lifted his shirt. He breast fed her right there in the middle of a hair salon. Chill guy, really nice about it.

Omg it's amazing seeing my city Glasgow in this movie so much. I remember them filming this here it was a HUGE deal when Brad and Ang came with the kids, it was the first time we had big A List Hollywood stars in our city for a while. When they arrived at Glasgow Central Station, they had hired out the FULL train just for them for security reasons and our city was gagging lol 😆 Ever since then we have loads of big stars filming movies here, the recent one was the new Batman 😀

There have been times and crazy stuff in movies, but seeing how Nikki reacts to children, animals, and innocent things, and clutches to Steve(n)'s for that strength and support, even through just scenes of films and reactions, I love, and am always enamored, by the genuine. and amazing couple you are, you sharing your real selves, and reactions, for the rest of us on our couches, or chairs, and feel we are there with you, and thank you for the experience of sharing that with us.

I watched Z Nation where they had several different types of zombies. It was dramatic, thrilling and a little campy. I liked the main characters and the different storylines with each episode, even though they stuck to the main theme. The first three seasons were so good. For me, it started getting a little too "over the top" in Season 4 so I stopped watching. That, of course, is my opinion because the show lasted another 2 or 3 more seasons so it must have been enjoyed by others.

You're right Steven it was pedal to the metal from the start, I found it so tense because those zombies were super fast and determined and yes like "Train to Busan", in fact when I was watching "Train to Busan", when the zombies all piled on top of each other moving forward on the train I remember thinking WOW, that part reminds me of "World War Z" when in Jerusalem and they were climbing up the wall like ants on top of one another until they eventually got over. Was so random the Doctor slipping up the plane ramp and accidentally shoots himself in the head, we were thinking "NOOOOO", did that just really happen, this guy lasted about 5 mins. I really enjoyed re-watching this with you both again, very entertaining and I loved the fact that you were as tense as I was and I laughed at your jump scares. I saw this film when it first came out just over 8 years ago, I cannot believe it was that long ago now, how time flies, but definitely a GREAT movie. I felt so sad for the little boy losing his parents, but they wouldn't leave their apartment and obviously came out too late, maybe looking for him or changed their mind and were bitten, but thought Gerry and his wife Karin have a new adopted son now who they'll love and the sisters a brother who they'll adore and he'll look after them. Nikki made me laugh when the automatic sensor lights went on in the labs hallway and she does her usual "bleep", "bleep", "bleep" "bleep" "bleep this", "I'm out", "duces", "the light came on", "I'm out",🤣 "duce", "peace", "thank you aaaand goodnight",. P.S. Can I just say, Nikki you always look lovely, but you looked extra pretty at the beginning with the red lipstick, white top with pretty lace type sleeves and your hair looked really nice and the extra dark eyebrows were so on point and sharp too!🥰

It's really remarkable, almost a miracle that World War Z, just like Jaws, Apocalypse Now, Waterworld, Groundhog Day, and Toy Story 2, turned out to be a good movie in spite of the making of it being a very troubled production. You must get that a lot ;) Fun Fact #2: I loved watching this 'live' when you first did this, lovin it now just as much. Fun Fact #3: During test screenings, most of the feedback was concerning 'what happened to Brad's family(?)'. And so they went back and filmed more scenes with the family. It's easy to see 'clean' scenes where he just goes off into a quiet hallway to talk to his wife as easy to splice back into the film, and I love that ending on the riverbank meeting up with them finally. I like to make up that smile on the wife's face as saying 'see Brad, the only reason we're here today, months after the movie wrapped, the people have spoken, you need us' ;)
