For years the broadcasts on ESPN brought thousands of new players into poker. For a few quick bucks you have killed the goose that laid the golden eggs.

It is mildly irritating that to watch it live I have spend either $15, $30, or $100. It would be nice if they found a TV channel to syndicate to. I wouldn’t even mind normal TV ads if I could watch it that way. I’m still on the fence whether I should spend $15 to watch it or not, that’s extra for what I already spend on Hulu+TV, and then I have to find the schedule online everyday to make sure I’m getting my money’s worth. Just a lot of extra hassle just to watch poker. A live stream on KZread with a sponsor or few would be ideal.

Like with the National Spelling Bee (broadcast on ESPN), they need to make a time limit at the WSOP to decide what to do. Those kids used to have unlimited time to spell a word and sometimes they would take like 5+ minutes to spell a word. Now they have a 2 minute time limit and it moves much faster and better. After 2 minutes you pretty much either know the word or you don't. Spell or get off the stage, kid. 😂😂

Jeff platt is the biggest cringe in the history of poker. Leave the players alone to play. He interrupts players awkwardly and asks stupid questions. Also, what has happened to norm? Is it the producers telling him to put on this act? It’s not that funny. I used to love him. Also jamie sounds like she’s talking strategy with a group of nerd solvers. Non poker players can’t relate to her tone and commentary. She’s bland, flat, monotoned and boring in general.

you don't all in such a 3-bet with Queens. It's the classical knockout. You call and fold if a K or A hits. If it doesn't on the flop you might still wanna get it in. Just so easy to get eliminated, I see it all the time.

9,3 suited is the plumbers hand. 9 is in the shape of the wrench that plumbers use. 3 is what you see from behind as a plumber is working (as Lon stated). And as Jaime said, you can hit a flush…

I got into poker 4 years ago from watching it on TV randomly switching through the channels. My initial reaction wow this is an actual sport? Seems so boring. Who would've thought I would've been completely enamored with it the weeks-months-years to come. Stop the PokerGo Nonsense , bring poker back to mainstream TV to bring more players in. Stop letting greed corrupt poker. Sponsors/ads are worth it if it means a larger outreach & overall healthier poker ecosystem. Also a shot clock on day 6 or 7 would be nice. I get big money is on the line but this was an hour preview, we saw like 4 hands, it was torture. I never would've gotten into poker if I had seen this initially

When you win a big tournament with millions on the table, can you decline the cash and take a casino check? To stuff a million+ in a duffle bag and expect to make it home alive seems optimistic at best.
