Using a mixed grip like that was the 1st mistake. If you cant bring the weight up past your hips with a double overhand grip, its certainly not going above your head

yep, weird bunch those. Rebecca Roberts is Welsh, Donna Moore lives in Scotland, yet both compete under Great Britain. Why not use their countries flags? The Stoltman brothers compete under the Scottish flag tho.

Have you watched some videos of the men’s categories? There’s a history of the overhead being at this competition

I always knew their would be a drop off with this game as it doesn't have a clear cut "endgame". I have seen ao many people say "im max level now. What do i do ?" Which is fine because not every live service game has to have dungeons, raids, etc. But i do think the number of players they received has put such a wrinkle in their plans(they literally admitted they had scraped their whole road map because the number of players playing) so if there was planned endgame its gone and will be coming soon. No problem, the momentum it had was not maintainable and i think people will come back when there is full new batch of content

The setup on the yoke was too high for most girls, they couldn’t get their legs into the movement and it was all upper body for most girls. They should have set the bar lower.

Lot of these girls fly through the first two lifts in the overhead medley just to get completely stapled by that "anchor yolk", tough difficulty curve. Out of 25 only 2 got the 3rd lift. Very tough tuning on the frame/stone carry event too, most of the competitors couldn't even budge the frame.

Its driving me crazy that they keep moving the stones in row 2 when no one touched them. Why do they keep doing that?

I don't understand how they are in a competition where they can't do what they suppose to.

They are a lighter variant of the Scottish Dinnie Stones from 1860. Look them up. It's part of stone lifting history and honored in modern strongman games.

Agreed. They are not properly balanced or shaped, so it basically effs up their shins. The ladies are all forced to walk knock-kneed with bad posture and bruising the heck out of their shins. Just a stupid heat. If I were one of these ladies, I would skip this one part altogether, and save the injury so I could have better chance at other heats.

Half don't even try. The other half are everyday girls. 2 or 3 are worth being in a competition.

Was trying my best to check for adams apples, to make sure the contest was legit.

This is why it's hard to watch women's sports. 3 women only competing truly. Most of the women just give up before they even give it a try. It's mind over matter.

_As an experiment:_ I went to the gym today for the first time in my life and did a barbell press of 230 lbs. So much for the "we are all the same" fallacy.

Certain events often try to weed out the field, and possibly have less than 2 finish the event. It's to measure max strength. It's a fine line, and sometimes a little off.

I hope those values are in kg…. Or is it in lbs???
