I just discovered Weta Workshop via Adam Savage's page. As a live steam model railroader I was pleasantly surprised to hear that the owner's hobby is driving miniature trains!

He has taken many cameras through the workshop (just watch the Lord of the Rings bonus features from 10 years ago) he just hasn't taken news cameras.

Ohhh... I am confusticated. They said they were working on Avatar, which would put this event some time in 2008 or 2009. But I think they made those eagles to celebrate the opening of The Desolation of Smaug, which was in December 2013.
