Your right we've got some gnarly ugly ones! I do love to tease the wolf spiders but you got to be careful. They can jump up at your hand instead of the stick you tease them with! ( I usually use a dust pan and brush to catch and release them. ) But if Im outside and find one in my car or on the outdoor furniture I'll use a twig to move them on. The Huntsman Spiders also rear up and Jump at you if threatened! It sucks....

I'm not sure USA is worse. You'd have to be really unlucky to have a cougar under your toilet seat, a gator sleeping in your shoes or a black bear in your bed. There's nowhere to hide in Australia, things lurk in every corner waiting to bite you if you get too close, they call them creepy crawlies for a reason. Personally I'm not too bothered by them and Aussies are very practical about it.

@@SirGnomes LOL, I was joking because you said it was the spider’s name - you meant name of taxon, but Sydney can also be a proper name so I was stupidly joking how did you get the spider to tell you it’s proper name. Never mind.
He said exactly what it was going to do…
Bro looks away to talk to the camera. Gets rushed by the spider.
Australia is the Chuck Norris of continents
The one video where it scuttles towards him instead of the cup and he screams like a child will be pure bliss.
Your compassion is heart warming...❤
Instead of using chemicals, To keep spiders out of your house use mint oil mixed with water often, & spray it all over the house, where spiders travel,or live. Use the spray Along baseboards, in corners, in closets, behind everything I can reach. They’ll come out to try and relocate, then u can capture and release outside or smoosh them and send them on their way to spider heaven. U want the mint to be strong.
Living in Australia cured me of arachnophobia. And by the way, nobody has died of funnel web bite in many, many years. The anti-venom works very well. Just don't muck about if you get bit: get help immediately.
New caption: People invade spiders habitat and confused why its chilling in their house

Pipe down ya hippie!
POV: Lethal spider sitting in my living room. Me: Sets entire house on fire and moves to Antarctica.
Spider was a cheeky little bugger.
Atrax Robustus aka The Sydney Funnel Web. Found only in the Greater Sydney area. This particular spider is a male, it's venom is more toxic than the female of the species, it is also the deadliest and most aggressive spider on Earth.
Siri, cancel my round trip tickets to Australia *If I had moneys*
I once read all spiders run away and hide when disturbed by humans. All except the funnel web.
Bang and the shoes killed it well hard work 😂
You know what works better than a cup and tongs? A shoe.
*Spider raises its fangs at me* Me: “The FUCK you say to me you little shit?”
“This is the world’s deadliest spider! Imma poke it with a stick”
I’m glad I haven’t run into anything like that in my home
Godbless all people who are kind to animals!
One of these bit me on my urethra. I still live to this day🎉

In the movie A Beautiful Island, this is one of the spiders used.
At least we don't have Bears rampaging through our bins.
Crocodile hunter. RIP 😢 Funnel Web Spider Hunter 🕷️ good luck. 🙏
There’s no way I’d live in Australia without one of those big assault guns lol
Where would he release a spider with venom lethal to humans? Nope. The responders favoring flame are spot on.
Look, a tiny little spider.. Now let me tell you his life story.. Me: grabs 9mm and hope nobody is in the basement.
"incredible amount of force for such a tiny little spider" That ain't tiny to me. Ick!
