Hey, FlimsyLunchTray here with a "New Player Guide" series for World of Warships. The goal of this series is for new players to know what to expect when starting out in WoWs. We finally got a Random Battle with all human players! 🤯 I was invited to join the GN0ME clan from this battle and so today we are going to discuss "Joining a Clan." Enjoy!

I'm in a clan where the whole goal is to have fun & get the perks. No Clan Battles but everyone tries to get as much oil as possible & the most points for the clan during the weekend battle competition.

Awesome! I know some clans are not about clan battles and that is cool in its own way to create an environment in for players to have together. Best Regards, FLT

@@FlimsyLunchTray Along these lines, there are competitive (or semi-competitive clans), purely social clans, and even economic clans. Even an introvert that just plays Co-op has the potential to reap some of the basic in-game rewards/benefits of being a member of a clan.
I would add, maybe you said it and I missed it, to division up with players from the prospective clan. I did not do this with my last clan because it ticked the other boxes, Friendly in chat, high number of players, lots of active players, Good WR 53%, decent in clan battles. I joined, got into their discord, found one post in the past year. Clan never does CB anymore, no one divs up, no communication. Only a clan for the benefits. At least they aren't toxic.

For sure. At the same time don't feel like you are "married" to them and can't leave if you want to find a more active clan o7 Best Regards, FLT
