I mainly play World of Warships, which is the focus of this channel along with some Armored Warfare. The video uploads I share here are both for your entertainment and helping improve your gamer skill! I also plan to feature historical elements here on my channel. Particularly visiting WWII historical landmarks such as the Atlantic Wall, warships, and more!

I also feature some topical videos on WoWs as well. I seek to promote a positive gaming environment with those I interact with in the game among players.

    While it's a step in the right direction, my concern is they've made it so unnecessarily complicated that when the law of unintended consequences rears it's head they'll just revert to the old (current) approach.

    This is a crock and will be an absolute mess. How easy to implement with minimap spotting only! I have such a bad feeling about this.

    PQ did a test with Hakuryu last night. It gets 15km range with the Harugumo guns, but with slower reload. Also it seemed like the ballistics weren't as good as with Harugumo.

    Yeah they nerfed the accuracy of the manual secondaries compared to the accuracy Destroyers get here in World of Warships. I watched a Haku using its guns against a Zao at 14-15km during a Twitch Stream the other day, looked odd 😂 Best Regards, FLT

    The CV problem would be solved in a week or two if the top 50 streamers/CC's got together and called for a total general strike until WG promised to simply implement minimap spotting.

    Yeah I am really curious to know what WG will announce in terms of their findings and plans going forward following these test. Can you help my memory here mate, does WoWs with Lesta Studios now have only CV Mini-Map spotting? I was thinking they did, but so confused in my memory with all the conversations, different studios and etc. Best Regards, FLT

    Is the the test part of the 13.7 public test or something different? (I did sign up for the aircraft rework test and already have the public test server installed, but when I launch it up it takes me to the 13.7 test.)

    Yeah kind of odd that they just did not do it on the Public Test Server. Guessing the changes they are making in the coding are quite drastic and they do not know whether these changes will stick or not, so perhaps too much to make all the changes and then revert the PTS back the way it was before the test. Thus, easier to just make a different client oddly enough 😅 Best Regards, FLT

    I have a question. How do I tell what mode a flight of planes are in to determine if I should use my defAA skill? If I can't tell, then I end up wasting my consumable since they do not take damage in travel mode. So they are protecting the most damaged planes. As if CVs needed that. Am I misunderstanding or does this seem like mostly CV buffs? Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.

    Well, I think that was pointed out by a Twitch WoWs Streamer the other day. Seems it can be a little difficult to tell, I am not participating in the test so I am not sure how much clarity I can add here. I would advise interacting on a Twitch WoWs Streamer channel and asking if it is while they are on the Test Client. It is perhaps too early to tell if is a buff or nerf so to speak, but we know it is rather complicated with how they are changing the game mechanics. The current test (being their 2nd test) is quite flawed in my opinion due to the MatchMaking. It is 6 vs. 6 with 2 aircraft carriers per team leaving 4 surface ships per team remaining. People are going to spec into AA more so here on the Test Client vs. Main Servers. When you have just 4 surface ships, it is a bit of herd mentality so then a Midway dive bombers have a hard time attacking 3 ships close together being 2 Worcester's with Manual and Automatic AA active and 1 Montana giving the appearance that CV planes are now weaker as the attacking planes are destroyed. Then CVs spotting will be higher in the Test Client because "herd mentality" vs. having players spread across the map in a 12 vs. 12. Not to mention you only have a couple of options in terms of CVs, Battleships, Cruisers and Destroyers to take into battle. The next test will need to be much more comprehensive. Best Regards, FLT

    Being that I just played this rework on the test server, I can say with absolutely certainty it is the worst concept I have every seen implemented. The biggest takeaways I have as to why is 1. There is no way to tell what altitude enemy planes are flying at so you will be confused when to reinforce your manual AA. 2. Carriers planes are very fast, now flying at their boosted speed permanently. 3. AA does almost nothing since enemy carriers will swap to attack mode right on top of you then go back to travel mode right after, where your AA cannot hit them. I just don't see why wargaming felt they had to reinvent the wheel here and make it square. They could have just implemented mini map spotting for carriers and also added the plane fuel system that is on wows legends.

Not also in Attack and Recon Mode if I read correctly 🤔 Did you find it still easy to do damage while playing a CV in general or no?     @@FlimsyLunchTray as a CV, it's kinda weird, because if someone activates DFAA before you are in their AA radius (which is 7km with DFAA active) you are blinded and can take quite a bit of damage even in travel mode When there is surface ship spotting your targets, yes it's easy to do damage because you can line up your shots without getting blinded and spending excessive time in their AA, however any planes shot down during the attack reduces the armament sent to your target. With midway torp planes for example, if 1 plane is shot down during the attack run you lose 2 torps out of your usual 6. There is also a way to gimp the system by setting down a fighter plane, then go to travel mode to line up your shots since your fighters are spotting for you. Kinda negating the reason for this rework. Lastly you have very long range secondaries so you can damage farm in a CV, which I found to be funny.

    This all sounds very complicated, but I'm hoping it makes a lot more sense when I see it in action. I'm still wondering what is going to happen at the end of game when there are hardly any ships left. How is the cv supposed to attack when there's on one around to do any spotting?

    Hopefully so. Guessing the CV will just take the planes at Low Altitude to fly around the map to spot. Sure perhaps more difficult if Recon Mode only has 60 seconds, but it recharges fast once you re-enter Travel Mode. I am not a 100% whether you can just fly around in Attack Mode before initiating an attack or not, would have to have someone else speak here on this. Best Regards, FLT

    24:45 this does not appear to be the case in my testing. The planes basically have 2 different attack time cool downs to get through now, for example with Hakuryu torpedo planes, when in travel mode and you left click to go to attack mode there is a 6 second count down and once that is complete there is another 3 second count down before you can actually drop the torps. I find this leads to losing planes much faster than in the live version

    Interesting, thanks for the feedback. Could it be someone activating "Manual AA" perhaps just as go in for the attack as an example 🤔 Thus more damage dealt if they are activating it just as you drop out of Travel Mode. Maybe not so accurate, but just a thought since the testing is just 6 vs. 6 and 2/6 are CVs so the surface ships do not have much to do or distract them. Best Regards, FLT

    @@FlimsyLunchTray I dont think thats it, the 2 timers are pretty consistent everytime you drop, you can avoid the first 6 second one by being in recon mode, but going from recon mode to attack mode has a weird lag to it.

    My only worry is that when you give noobs(like me) a tier 10 ship to test the changes in randoms, it's going to be hard for us to do anything because of the lack of everything(understanding of fundamentals of the games,etc aren't known to us yet). I don't know what to do, i don't want to piss my teammates. Any suggestions?

    Well, I mean for now the testing is open, but you had to register in advance for it as it is not on the Main Servers, but on a Test Client. They will likely do a test on the main servers in a separate Battle Type later on after the review the results of the current testing. Typically players under perform as no one tries as hard since it is a "throw away game mode" per say if they do this testing on the main servers in a separate battle type. Usually if someone says something, you can just say you are new at the game and figuring out. Most players will back off or try to help generally speaking, but not always. Best Regards, FLT

    Im from wot f2p and im planning to try AW. Is it a f2p friendly? Is the grind not too hard? Is game still lives this year?

    Yes I think generally it is f2p friendly. Yes still alive, just a small player base. From what I have seen and played, it doesn't appear to be as hard as WoT in terms of the grinding, but I have never played WoT so I could be mistaken. Just from what I have seen of QuickyBaby. It does not take much time going through low tiers, Tier IX takes a while to grind through, but there are special ops and etc that help you grind much faster like Heroics. You get a lot of things/rewards from the Battle Path, which just started a week or two ago that last for 4 months. I think it is around 10 euros maybe? But in my opinion it is very much worth it as there is so many things you can pick up via the Battle Path that easily makes it worth the money. Best Regards, FLT

    How come your service costs are so low for the Tx? Anytime I play my T10 or * the service cost is 150-200k? Your clan? I don't play them as on a terrible streak and loosing credits?

    Nice film, i tried this for first mons after coming over from xbox, if team is not with you u get fckd.. but stats are terrible will take years to recover from all the deaths. now cant stop moving and my play is worse..

    Regarding the economic rewards of spotting damage, WG hasn’t (and won’t) give specifics. We know it’s treated the same as “regular” direct damage for base xp and credit earnings, and then modified by the ship type you’re in (for example, a destroyer will earn more than a battleship for the same spotting damage). There may also be other modifiers based on relative tiers just like there are for direct damage, but the exact numbers and calculations have never been revealed though.

    force reload is C I really like this tank did not play it till I had it maxed and it is real nice for t5 and just fun.

    I started out in randoms. But as of late the game keeps putting my Alabama in tier 10 matches where I get yeeted down by a Yammy. Or my team dies around me leaving me as the next to last ship. So for the past few days I have been playing Coop. And getting my objectives done faster.

    The battle path or battle pass for this game is a mess. You should never had to pay gold to access it in the first place when other mmo games have the battle pass or season pass for free to begin with for free to play players. That is one of the reasons I hate armored warfare I did post this as a question for the ceo so we will see what happens

    That is a good point, it is a nice welcome to new players to incentivize them into playing/purchasing the Battle Pass after receiving it for the first time for free. As a player I would welcome this and would be nice to see if they work towards regrowing their player base. I wonder if they "feel" they are in a financial position to do so given how small their player base currently is. The focus may be to make as much financial gains as possible and just publicize a lot of information about the Battle Path without making it for free. Best Regards, FLT

    I started playing just 2 months ago, so I don't have a lvl 21 Capt. I have Cunningham on my Duncan on lvl15. Should I switch Cunningham to the StV or not?

    Ideally, if you are grinding a commander to be 21 points (which feels like it takes forever for new players, especially after they bumped commanders up from being 19 pointers to 21 pointers), you want to train commander for a ship line you are grinding up as an example. So if you start grinding for Conqueror as an example and you are at Queen Elizabeth, I would put Cunningham on QE and then continue to taking him up the line as you obtain each new ship. Specifically regarding your question, if you are playing St. Vincent a lot, then I would just place Cunningham on St. Vincent and grind him that way. Then you are not paying retraining cost as you grind up a ship line as an example. Best Regards, FLT

    The new Unique Commander is Joaquin Marques Lisboa (has improved brisk for BBs, 12.5% extra speed instead of 8%) and has 3 unique skills. Upon 175 main battery hits and secondary it gets improved reload on secondaries (-15%), main battery (-5%) and torps (can't remember). Getting high caliber gives you an extra charge of consumables, 20% extra of consumable action time and +8% speed. Activating 2 combat instructions grants you a minimum of 20% combat instructions when it reloads, so it's faster to get the combat instructions back, considering you get them by getting main battery hits and potential DMG.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised, once they get New Jersey into the game they will probably do some type of Armory Event where you can pick up all four of the Iowa Class Battleships for the low price being a part of your soul 🙈😂 Best Regards.
