The Euro actually has a few more interesting features I learned when I worked as a Cashier. The Left and Right Edges, the Note Value in the middle, and the quarter circle on the back are texturized, which is a fast and discreet way of checking the money, to prevent potential Criminals from getting nervous or suspicious. Also a feature, that the also National Bank uses when checking, is a special material in the Notes that can get picked up by Scanners, sometimes Cashiers use also them for big Notes

While we’re on topic, here’s a fun fact about currency! In 1946, Hungary suffered massive hyperinflation. As a result, Hungary printed a banknote that holds the record for the largest face value of any currency ever issued- the 100 million b.‑pengő note. This note had a value of 100 quintillion. Sir Edmund Hillary was the first person to reach the summit of Mount Everest and Kate Shepherd pushed NZ to be the first country to allow the women's vote, hence both of these people being on the 5 and 10 dollar notes. Just a little tidbit I thought others might find interesting. On the NZ 100$ dollar bill which you don't seem to have, is Ernest Rutherford who was the first man to split the atom, among other scientific achievements. Have a good day!

I have a question... And I say it in the best way possible, why people in the US call themselves "americans"? America is a whole continent divided in North, Central and South. So in fact everyone that lives in this continent is american, not just you. This has always bothered me hahaha
@lavenbug
4 жыл бұрын
@@andreamolinacamposano7416 Well, the US is the United States of America so the people in the states of America are American. The issue is that it wasn't an original name like Canada or Mexico so there isn't a better name.

When it comes to Euros the coins are much more interesting. there are super duper rare ones because sometimes there are coins specific to a city or a historical place within the euro zone (like Schloss Neuschwanstein on Bavarian coins or the brandenburg gate on berlin coins)

Yah, bank notes are the same, but every country has different design on the back of the coins. And it is not important from which country coins came, even though designs are different. You can use Germany's euro coins in Netherlands and so on. So when I have coins in my palm I may have coins from few different countries with different back designs.

Crazy how you can remember all of the notes. Nice video. And in today's world you can look them up if not sure but if you look at them you can usually tell. The Hungarian bills are pretty colors And also other countries have more interesting bills than us and with all the color too. And it's really cool a lot of you're bank notes are clean. Much love coming from VA
