Another great build. For tiles I nomally wrap a thin layer of clay around a paper straw. Let the clay dry then slice the whole tube in half. This give you 2 half circles that can easily be cut to the length of the tiles you want. Basically scaling down the actual process of making real tiles. They take a little longer to set but work great and all the tiles are slightly different. You can even break/chip a few to add even more interest to the roof.

Love the connection to previous builds/stories! World building at it’s finest!
You REALLY need to get in touch with a good filming company, which turns it into a multiple seasons long series. Your story has great potential for that. It's awesome 👍

THIS LOOKS BEAUTIFUL
The diorama was invented by Louis Daguerre and Charles Marie Bouton and was first exhibited in Paris in July 1822 and at The Diorama, Regent's Park on September 29, 1823. Dioramas were created to tell a story, sort of like a precursor to movie projectors. Two scenes were created on each side of the diorama. When one side was lit up it would represent a certain point in time or a particular event when it was lit up from the other side it would change to a different time (like day and night) or another event (like the beginning of a train crash and the aftermath). The first dioramas were two dimensional but as time went on they became more popular as 3D scenes. Even though the modern concept of a diorama is from more recent times, wargaming scenes or dioramas were used in ancient times as a means of planning military strategy or as a storytelling device. Even cave paintings were a form of diorama. Creating multiple scenes that linked together to tell a story. Creating a complex back story to go along with your diorama makes it true to the medium. Congratulations, you’re a fine storyteller.
I would love to see a larger build like a town square seeing this amazing build of the market made me think of that

@earlware4322

@@gameyybuildsThen take a page out of Boylei's playbook and take it one building at a time. Each with its own backstory and character(s) that tie-in to a larger story... For example: an imperial army squad searching a small village/town square looking for a fugitive. Then have a couple buildings with their own reason to hide from or call to the soldiers. Or something along those lines. Each building can be its own video/build with the soldiers (and maybe a mech too!) be the final piece that ties it all together.
Ever thought of making this world into a table top rpg? Theres lots of different systems and would go great with your, quite literal, world building
Fantasic, amazing, brilliant!
Hairs on the back of my neck standing up by the end of this episode. The art, worldbuilding, modelling, storytelling, all get better with every video. Amazing 🤯😀

by far one of the most interesting worlds I have ever seen
You have started a trend. Everybody is doing lore with their builds now. Including me.
Another wonderful multi-media chapter, up miniaturized alleys and down winding lanes of imagination, both comforting and thoroughly entertaining.
Is it just me or every time i watch these videos i get sent straight to sleep (in a good way these videos are so calming)
I imagined your story designed by ... Moebius. You are a master in telling stories, like the stories of "The Airtight Garage" ... simply fantastic. I even saw the scenes, the gestures, the faces. Too bad this master left us years ago. (Jean Giraud 1938-2012) Hugs and Cheers!
As if the story telling, model crafting, editing and music werent enough, you throw a Hot Rod reference in. Superb work all around sir.

This is my first video I've watched of yours and I cannot believe the quality of it. The story telling, the voice over, the camera work, the build itself. I can't wait to hear more from this universe
The storytelling is engaging and intriguing as always, and the build, immaculate.
It took me a hot minute to remember who Nick Poli was, and I've been bingeing for the last 7 hours. Can't help wonder how your regulars recalled him. Aw, nuts, I just realized I've reached the end of the playlist. Think I'll go rewatch the next in the series, then take a break before I dive into the rest.
Personally, I consider the concept painting to be an integral part of each project you release
This is the kind of stuff that you could see in a museum!!

Another fascination installment of this series, with an amazing build to boot! This one gives me Ghibli vibes for some reason, a mix between the bath house and Howl's moving castle.
What a great build and outstanding back story. I can see a follow up "treasure hunt" build staring the Yoh Gwalen.
My advice for your soldering: Just 'git gud' man. In all seriousness, as with all of your builds, this was a joy to watch. The tie in with the other story was fantastic and cannot wait for more of this story to unfold. I am unsure precisely how this would work but the only constructive suggestion I have is wiring up another battery to the speaker to make it vibrate (you can add resistors to change the Hz). This would both look cool as it would look like the Repulser engine was actually doing something, and it would also give off a hum when activated.
Another mind blowing build and story!!!! Love this new addition to the world building! ❤😊❤
Amazing work, for the roof I recommend putting some clingfilm in between the Clay’s, hope this helps next time.

if you used a magnetic switch you could hide it on the interior of the build making it possible to turn the effect on without needing to hide the switch, if you wanted to go more complex you could wire the switch into the coil of a relay to "latch" the relay in the on position making it possible to engage multiple effects. if you would like to go into more depth feel free to message me. also just wanted to say i love your build and has me thinking of my own.
