"I know what you're thinking. Did he load six bits or only 5?" 🔥🔥

This one was like loading a single fire musket. Felt old fashion compared to my Milwaukee ratcheting screwdriver. A little disappointed with the WorkPro. Stay Safe Sir. B9USA Sr… Rick.

I have both the workpro and Milwaukee and both are very handy and equally good for what they are.

My work pro was great until I put a good load on it and the ratcheting mechanism locked up

After looking at a few reviews I bought the Workpro ratcheting screwdriver you reviewed here. I think I paid $15.90 total on Aliexpress. I really like the design, where the key feature is the fine ratchet combined with the fairly unique bit holding mechanism. The mechanism called QL3, holds the supplied hex shank bits very well, and you can put short (1") bits in there as well and they hold tightly. Power bits (with the notch on the bottom) hold tight as well. The tool is a great general purpose ratchet bit holder, that works with all standard long and short bits (1/4" and 4mm with an adapter), special electrician bits, bit extenders and nut driver adapters. It works well with my SAE and metric power bit shank allen sets, my SAE and metric sockets etc. It's nice that it comes with several long shank magnetic bits, but these will be kept in a drawer if I ever need them, since for most cases I'm using my DeWalt bit holder and short bits for most things. And the thing you didn't like with the supplied bits in the handle not secured - I wouldn't keep all the bits there anyways since it makes the tool too heavy. It's just a convenient place to put a long bit if you need to swap it out for something else (i.e. rare is the case where you need all 12 at the same time). The handle material is not hard plastic. It has a good hard rubber friction feel to it, but it isn't soft. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

Awesome overview and comparison. The Milwaukee definitely seems the better choice.

Bought the workpro about a year ago and use it regularly. Good thing about it, It's strong, and can deliver the necessary power. Bad thing about it, as you've shown, the loose magazine and the bits are easily corroded. It needs more maintenance than a high end ones. But still, for that price I think it's worthed.

Yes I agree. I still own the WorkPro and I have leaned to appreciate it for its ability to still get the job done. I love the WorkPro Utility Knife that I have shown in several videos…. It is larger and Rock Solid!! Rick.
