    Welcome to the channel TheEnglishRedneck45, I’m glad you found my video interesting. If you think rebranding is going away sir think again it’s going to get worse. It won’t be a need to purchase a $50. tool from KLEIN or some other well known tool company when you’ll be able to purchase that same exact tool listed under a never heard of company name for $25. Tools are a big business nowadays. By the way sir if you’re not already connected to this channel get connected take a look at my other videos over 💯 I’m sure you’ll find one or more them interesting. And stay tuned there’s more to come. Be safe sir.

    You could throw in a Megapro it is identical to the channel lock one.

    Megapro is a very nice tool, but I didn’t think about it at the time I was making this video. It would’ve competed well against the other ratcheting screwdrivers.

    So is the SATA worth it? I can't seem to find a ratcheting driver with the bits I want and magnetized tips.

  • @TheElectriciansToolChannel

    Yes sir I think it’s worth the purchase, now you may have to magnetize your own tips because I’ve never seen a ratcheting screwdriver with magnetic bit tips.

    @@TheElectriciansToolChannel I ended up ordering a highly recommended one that I don't think you have. Its the megapro ratcheting screwdriver. I have a friend that swears by their non-ratchet version. They make a ton of versions for trade specific applications. Maybe you should try it. It is made in North America (Canada and US), so it might be different than all your rest. I ended up getting it because it had very high reviews and the ratcheting seemed smooth and very fine. Also they had an automtive version that uses standard bits, so I can change them out to ones I use. I couldn't find a video that showed how the SATA ratchet action and decided to go with that one instead. I almost bought them both to do a comparison but ended up not doing that. Anyway thanks for the review. It did help me in my decision (I ended up ruling out some others you showed, and I watched your other screwdriver shootout.). I just wish you would have shown the ratchet haha!

    I’m wondering if your speaking about the ones that looks exactly like the CHANNELLOCK version, except Megapro version is red ? Try googling CHANNELLOCK. ratcheting “ SCREWDRIVERS “ to see if they’ve been cloned and let me know ?

  • @revnort

    @@TheElectriciansToolChannel yeah they have been cloned, but the version you have isn't it. Apparently megapro makes the channellock ratcheting for channellock but yours loads from a screwtop which isn't that version. You can see the versions I'm talking about here, and they confirmed it was made by megapro. thewirecutter.com/reviews/the-best-screwdriver/ Yours is this one which isn't the same www.eastwood.com/channellock-18n1-ratcheting-screwdriver.html This is the one: www.homedepot.com/p/Channellock-13-N-1-Racheting-Screwdriver-CODE-BLUE-at-Grip-131CB/203416112

    @@TheElectriciansToolChannel I'll give a sub for the good content. I know you have plenty of screwdrivers already haha, but if you ever decide to do a comparison of that other channellock or megapro and your others I'd love to see it!

    How can you call ANY of these a copycat, when they all use the same mechanism?

  • @TheElectriciansToolChannel

    @TheElectriciansToolChannel

    That's what I meant by copy cat all the mechanisms are the same. None are original or modeled differently except the WIHA. Thanks for posting.

    Hello sir, I also use the Ideal ratchet but I'm disappointed they don't sell the tips. My 1/4" straight blade tip broke and Ideal do not sell tips. Disappointing!!!

    Try Ebay type in ( IDEAL INDUSTRIES MULTI SCREWDRIVER BITS ) and see what comes up. Don’t get rid of your screwdriver because the bit(s) are out there you just have to do a little more searching. 👀🤞

    They are all made by the same compqny. It’s modified just enough to pass copyright laws then re-branded. It’s legal piracy
