    Жыл бұрын

@@totallyraw1313 I can’t answer that question without wondering why you are asking. I will say this. He is exactly where he needs to be with the program he is with. They are coaching the athlete, not strictly following a training program. There are more than a few highly successful coaches all NCAA levels. Even a D3 coach would be able to coach those high end D1 kids, but everyone is where they should be. It is only a matter of circumstances which might lead one collegiate athlete to move to a different coach. I’m wondering what would NCAA be like right now if Erriyon Knighton decided to finish high school and run for Florida. Mind blown….🫣🤯

My opinion is that teaching "how to run" not only is useless, but is counter productive. For something that natural, the only way is : to let the feeling making converge the moves to, rather automatically, reach the optimal gesture.

Putting in the hard work and the muscles show it. Winning hardly comes easy. I think as Julien Alfred gets faster in the 100m she will be more competitive in the 200m especially if she can lengthen her stride and let momentum carry her a bit in the 2nd half of the 200m. But I'm no expert.

@@dennisrobinson8008 I think in an interview last year she commented about doing less weights and avoiding bulking-up. Maybe that is the real reason for being "leaner". Being mindful of nutrition could also be a factor.

@@sweetspotdrummer Some of us were talking about it and it looks like nutrition, looking at her face and skin and energy. When our diet is on point we respond in the same way. Last year she had a little "pinch" on her waist, it wasn't much at all... And slight bloat in her upper thighs... That's all gone now. She must be aware of that and adjusted her eating to only eat as much carbs as she needs to perform and also avoiding foods that cause inflammation. These are all things you can adjust. I suspect her hydration is on point, not a lot of simple sugars, lots of green vegatables and sufficient protein. Everything mostly accounted for. Everyone doesn't do the same things, and if someone else wants to do extra homework or be more strict on their diet and psychology more power to them.
