Working on upper leg position in rising trot

🦵In this short clip we're working on the upper leg position in rising trot. One of the main factors to consider when aiming for a balanced position in this gait.
🕵️The upper leg together with the pelvis is responsible for maintaining a steady base of support. For many equestrians the rising trot can be kind of 'lazy;; They're not maintaining muscle tone in the upper leg muscles and tend to just 'fall back'in the saddle. Sometimes this is due to a lack of understanding of functions of the saddle.
❤During the course of this lesson we could see the rider improving and the horse starting to relax more and more over the back. It was a great change to observe.
