After nearly 20yrs self-employed, and 20yrs prior sales and sales management and nearly same time (40yrs) motorcycle enthusiast, I will be meeting with the owner and the GM at a Harley dealership in my town to discuss a sales role in a couple days. Thanks for your vid...gives me a little insight!

@@simmon81au Worked there for about 8 days...sold $80k+ and barely made $700. Had another job offer come in at $80+ base + insurance + bonuses so I bailed pretty quick. The dealership had just hired a long-time car sales guy and the pressure techniques they were using to close deals were atrocious. I'm positive that's not how all HD dealerships are run!

@Harry. B. Renner. jr. when i walk into my h-d shop there are usually 9 or 10 people hanging around the parts counter asking me "whats up"! And as always i have to remind them with my one word answer : "EVERYTHING" as i go straight to the service department to see if there as been any progress to find the electrical problem on my brand new 2019 FXDR 114 cu in Milwaukee eight that constantly having weird lights flashing - indicator lights flashing on and off unable to read duh digital speedometer that finally progressed to unable to start at all that has been at that time sitting in their service department for 2 months so Scott they're only technician is still backed up trying to keep up with service and new bikes finally had the time to plug in the data Port computer to my motorcycle computer and all is connected to the phone line to the Milwaukee diagnostic computer that monitors the entire electrical system of the new high-tech Harley's that all the Millennials are crying about as the robots and in charge that tells the service manager to tell me that I had a bad battery so check the service rap installed a new battery and tells me my bike is good to go but this time I came prepared with a $5 voltmeter that I placed across the terminals of the official Harley battery maintainer Andrei a total of 11 volts while the engine was idling at 1000 RPM and I asked Chuck so the day of Port computer said my motorcycle is 100% cured of all his problems right and Chuck says she's ready to go and nothing wrong with it so Harley's now charge at 11 volts right running 12 volt battery Chuck says again everything is fine so I go on my Harley across the road to the Honda shop and traded for new Africa twin plus I get $2,000 cash to do so and and arai helmet a set if saddle bags as all i paid was a set of keys to a broken harley that the Milwaukee Master service robot computer didn't have enough artificial intelligence you understand that a 12 volt battery does not work at 11 volts but the service technicians at Honda discovered fixed and repaired in 10 minutes and now my new Harley sets on the floor Thompson Motorsports of Terre Haute Honda Kawasaki Suzuki Yamaha Can-Am and KTM and at Terre Haute Thompson Motorsports also sell previously owned Harley-Davidson as they are a parts and service center for the brand and have a staff Harley-Davidson technician as I said found the trouble with my brand new one by replacing the voltage regulator is the first thing you check by reading the voltage across the battery as they found it to be 10 at the time call The Voice regulator of a trade in used motorcycle plug it into my new motorcycle and for the very first time since I had owned it was charging 14 and 1/2 both the lights were very bright and no problems it is not the brand of motorcycle it is not the quality of the part is the fact that Milwaukee is now run by artificial intelligence that's intelligently artificial

I rented a 2020 UltraGlide and the GPS does not show "miles til next turn" very annoying! Also, I had to use my cheap cricket phone several times as a GPS because the Harley GPS couldn't find the location I was looking for, it couldn't even find the Harley dealership I rented the bike from. The Japanese hammer the Harley's year after year with the small things, the details that Harley-Davidson over-looks. The small details matter.

Overpriced, poor reliability, engines that make a lot of noise with little power and just as heavy as a Sherman tank ! Make no mistake I want then to succeed it's just why would I spend that kind of money on a bike that hasn't come far since the 70's ? Almost any bike you can buy for 30K today will be a far superior choice to anything HD makes today. They have been lost for decades and if they do not change and FAST HD will be gone. They have lost their way. Do not even get me started on that Overpriced 100 mile range electric shitbox! Bring back Buell if he would even come back to HD.
