Chaise is the French word for chair. A chaise longue is a long chair ( surprise surprise) but still with an upright back so you can stretch your legs out but still have your back supported. I hope Americans don't pronounce chaise as chase ( like Art did earlier) but nothing would surprise me !

I haven't heard of either one of those last two Strands words either (maybe CHAISE vaguely) I was able to figure out that one word most likely had to start or end from the DI- and the other start with CH-, so I took a shot at CHASE/DIVIAN which was wrong. Then I tried CHAISE with the I.

I am glad I didn’t get the connections because I didn’t have pink erasers. The editor needs serious help though. Pink erasers… I hope they get better 😅

Anyone I watched who knew the phonetic alphabet had a pretty easy time with this one. Since i did not know it, this was a really tough Connections for me.

I got stumped on hotel being in the phonetic alphabet… I knew the category was the phonetic alphabet but I couldn’t get the last one. Otherwise, I thought the connections today was easy.
