The Black Walnut is beautiful, but that finial... that's absolutely amazing, dark and light contrast of colours.

You have the Midas touch when it comes to wood. Beautiful. P.S. Here is a idea for something to do with all the wood shavings. Bag them up in 1 quart bags, and sell it as survival tender for starting fires. You could charge 2 bucks a bag. List it under survival items.

I loved it without the finial, but the finial makes the piece. The shape you made the urn makes the piece look like an acorn with the finial as the stem and the wood grain just tops it off💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Been gone for a while, nice to be back and see your work again. I like the finial, it finishes the urn. The video didn’t show you finishing the bottom of it and I was wondering how you did that with not much material in the pin jaws. Must have been tricky.

Another very nice piece. Not fussy on those ornamental pieces either, but on this one it definitely seems to finish it off nicely. Curious if you could help me understand why more turners don't do like you and try to make life easier and safer while turning by pre shaping the blank and taking off as many hard/square edges as possible? Really don't get it.
