Oh Wow!, who would have thought such beauty was hiding in that gnarly piece of wood..I thing you have made one of you most beautiful pieces this time ,the wood is so beautifully marked and has so many different ones in it and you added just the perfect amount of resin to extend the height and to balance the piece.Thanks too Doug who sent it .Gorgeous footed bowl..I hope your family are safe and well 🥰xx

You got a spontaneous, "Oh, my God!" out of me when you applied the tung oil. Incredibly beautiful piece. Jaw dropping.

It was a gorgeous piece to start with.

I like the fact that when you look down on the rim of the bowl it looks blue, but when you look at it from the side the resin looks almost clear.

That was (or at least looked like) a very dry and hard piece of wood...surprised you didn't wear gloves and a welder's helmet! You turned that beautifully and wound up with a real masterpiece. Best wishes to you and the family my friend and be well.
