Also wow this looks like the bark of one of my favourites which would be the cottonwood tree I'm also watching this while dyeing clothes (in the washing machine and uni but I'm considering getting into the madness and trying this technique)
All about the boots baby... you got the moves... happy stitching... #fanclub

Huge thanks, Angie!
OMG 🤯🤯, the design is beautiful 😍 but 30hrs that's a very long time and thanks for mentioning the nylon thread, I tried thread shibori this evening and the resist was not enough but with this💪💪💪. Thanks so much

Hello! thanks for your support. Yes, nylon thread works better than cotton because cotton tends to break if pulled very tightly, and that is required for a tight bind for shibori.
Wow that was a fantastic learning experience. I love to stitch large pieces but you take it another level. Just amazing . Thank you so much.😊

Thank you for your joy and generosity and skills 🙇🏻♀️I noticed you did not wet you shacket before dying … is that not necessary with Rit dyes ?

Hi Yvonne, I don't really dampen the garments that I tie dye when working with Rit Dye. It still works. Sometimes I use a spritzer so that the resist would have greater contrast
