    I think it’s to reinforce the knot at the end when you pull the thread to gather it so it doesn’t shatter? One side has the thread and the other doesn’t from what I can see. And then 2 of her lines break.. so even with the reinforcement, it could be difficult. It has to be really really tight for shibori, so the dye does not penetrate those areas.

    Hi jennifer tried doing the stuff stiched and dyied the fabrc but could not get the designs all over some part the design was there some parts could not get the design what could be the mistake pls explain

    I haven't tried it but it would be worth experimenting. You would need a long basting stitch.
