Amelia and Brandon should be ashamed. Chloe did a switch flip down the big set and they had little to no reaction. No one else in the women’s is doing switch tricks period and that was her 3rd of the run, and down the biggest set in the park. Do better.

@@robekensugi I get it but they always had a translator on deck everytime. It feels like well it’s sky brown so let her try it out. Then it takes away from momji’s moment of winning a gold medal because sky brown is stuttering through it and momiji can’t half way understand her. Just pay the translator who is hired to do the job and keep it about the winner of the contest. That’s all I’m saying.

Congratulations and great job by the whole podium but I'm especially happy the judges recognized Chloe's performance. I was getting a little bit worried she was headed into a robbery situation! 😎 But seriously she really deserved that silver! And Sky pulling translator duty at the end was the best! Sugoi desu! 💪💪💪

She did an amazing run at a recent WST event flipping in and out of grinds looking like she was sleepwalking. Incredible style.
Nah but like how did the announcers not talk abut the fact that Chloe SWITCHflipped that stair set in her last run she skates switch so well, especially to throw that down in a contest is incredible and it only took her this one try
momiji skates like Sora Shirai and Yuto Horigome thats crazy !!
That is what I came to see to the women skating love them there so great to watch truly amazing talented women.
That 2nd run by Poe Pinson at 24:30. I loved to see it. Had everything imo; Hits the big rail, lands a nice tre flip, Kickflip into grind, Hitting the long rail near the end. And ending with a simple shuv. I love the variety in that run. Think it should’ve gotten 1 or 2nd at the time. And kudos to leal for taking risks

For anyone thats never had knee surgery and then going back to doing what they love is difficult. Aori Nishimura really did everything she could. I could see her knee tightening up mid run during her first and second run.

I have been skateboarding for 27 years. What I see now, it is amazing how many girls are actually skateboarding now. Any person who makes fun of a girl on a skateboard, just laugh at. Because they are the joke at that moment :).
I am in pain from trying a 50/50 pop shove it out on an up rail that ive only landed 3 times in my life! These girls skill level is increasing constantly its just humbling to see, im always rootin for the youngest one too, amazing to get 2nd place at 12 years old.

Well again as a father, my wife and I will teach our children how to respect their bodies and to recognize that same respect in the person who will one day become their spouse... And then they will pass down the same respectful views. I guess it’s all about what we teach our kids. It’s all choice, you may choose to let your children walk around half-clothed unaware in adolescence, like I choose to teach mine that even at 18 we must respect ourselves and the others around us.
