this really reminds me of the first year of SLS. Everyone was just sorta figuring it out, playing it safe, not too technical. It was this competition that pushed the current lineup in mens to where it is today. I imagine 10 years from now the womens finals will be insane. These girls are literally kids right now and already doing blunt slides down SLS sized hubbas and gapping over massive rails.

Exactly, seeing momiji do tail slide 270 out in a run, doing crook nollie heel out in best trick it’s really pushing the standard. People don’t appreciate that these skaters have the size disadvantage. You see them improve as they grow up, they have the technicality though it’s just so difficult for five foot nothing Funa to do a nose blunt slide I guarantee if she was 5 foot 10 She’d land it so easily. If you watch their social media they’re doing insane stuff, Funa does heel flips popped to her own hip height down gaps and momiji is doing nose slides 270 heel out!! When they’re adults we will see some insane stuff and the next generation will be unbelievable and will totally break our belief of what is possible when they become adults.

Volta pra mim é essa que vc dá o gás, a galera sente a vibe, nenhuma outra chegou nem perto,me lembrou da época que a Rayssa arriscava mais, no pós olimpíada, quando ela mandava caballerial, fs blunt shove-it out, ela era super ousada, sobrava, hj ela e bem comedida, sinto falta daquela Rayssa.

Yumeka is very close to her level, less consistent but she got a 9.4 doigg by a huge kick flip front feeble in SLS. Likewise young coco yoshizawa won a different contest doing big spins in and out of boardslide. Momiji has the best style by far but you also got to watch out for Funa, Yumeka and to some degree Aoi. To be honest they often post bangers on social media that they never try on contests. Momiji knows noseslide 360 heel out, landed it bolts on Instagram, Funa was doing Ollie late Backfoot flips up gaps on hers too. Aoi won a contest with a fat boned heel flip front boardslide on a big rail.

They score them differently. Because before it was opposite and sls were giving 8.0 for fs 180 gap from Leticia. Then the new gen came in and some did men’s level tricks like Momiji big flip from board etc etc They were scoring women as same as men but it was really demoralising and kind of insulting to see the women do well and break history and then have to smile and celebrate for getting a 3.0 or 4.0 and go crazy because they got 5.5. I think them being rated on what the standards are for women’s skateboarding and what is NBD and the peak performance is much better. It’s more encouraging and less shaming. I mean if you see the WST you can see how in WST Rome last year how well the women did.

Go watch a checkers tournament then. This is skateboarding. No room for your snowflake health and safety bullshit. If they want helmets, they can wear them, like Rayssa used to not so long ago. If not, ‘requiring’ anybody to do that is wack. Blood and sweat is an integral part of this.

@@maeiliy Yes, that's true. But if you skate, you know what I'm talking about. Furthermore, they are professionals and are aware of the risks. If they were concerned about their heads, they would wear helmets. 😄

chloe just got emotional damage and her age didnt manage to control it really . thats all , once she learn she doesnt have to drop killer each time and not to insist in some trick more than twice . if you are going strong on the lines get smart , the first best trick do a crook on the hubba or bump to rail , then do a kickflip on the gap , then feeble the rail then throw the banger . guaranteed win , yall just need to put scores in the board , as long as the other still try to break their head with one hard trick you already plus like 12 points and them like 0. be smart chloe this is a constest not a video part . rayssa can be beat with no bangers just stay on your board and be smart you got this .

Every SLS video I've seen over the years is kinda disappointing. It's a "Championship." Stop changing the scoring and make it universal
