That was hard to watch although probably correct judging. Hell of an effort of Walcott especially pulling raw

Great power.

Walcott did not lock that dead lift out by a long shot. Just because Tamara did not use straps, doesn't matter; you don’t get brownie points for not using straps! She did not complete the lift! She was still was yanking the weight at the top, her hips weren’t locked in and the shoulders were forward. Thats too bad they gave it to her anyway. On the other hand Victoria Long did the thing like a beast! Overall there were some impressive ladies lifting.

The men aren’t competing against the women. They both go in the same events on the same days. Loz and Jerry were just referring to numbers that the men, and they did themselves. They are both former strongman competitors.

From what I’ve heard, the bar is 34 kg/75 pounds. I’m not sure though, because that would make the super thin metal plates more than 5 kg each (and they don’t look like they weigh that much more).

That was an fantastic competition, rogue you rock!

I still say Tamara did not get the lockout.

Gotta see it that way. The public gets free strongman content, in exchange rogue gets exposure. That's sort of the current currency and in my opinion a fair trade-off. Rogue is doing an amazing job

​@Quel'Andil Rogue is doing a great job but their equipment is overpriced for what it is, I use gear that is cheaper and does exactly the same job as its meant to do. All your paying for is the name that's it nothing more I use Mirafit equipment at my mates gym which belong to him and he has said why bother buying expensive overpriced equipment when everything Mirafit has does the same job you need it to. Rogues comps are great but I also find them extremely boring at times

Walcott is a great deadlifter but her final attempt is no way a total lockout also if thats the only reason Rogue invited her because she is WC powerlifter, im sorry but she has absolutely no business being there when Holly McRae earned her spot and Rebecca Roberts who is in the top 10 strongest in the world in womens division was told she has to go through amataurs she would have dominated the amataurs by miles she should never have been an alternate

If Andrea had another lift or she went for 681lbs she would've won.

Yes and no. She was the recordholder doing things her own way. So it's hard to argue she was bad at it, but this might be the wakeup call she needed to change to straps now, unless she does powerlifting a lot.

No, they use the IOC standards which allows a transitioned male to compete as a female with a limit on testosterone, which anyone with any sense knows is only one piece of the puzzle. Going through puberty as a male has tremendous benefits. That's not to say Victoria Long is not a biological female. I have no idea.
