I really thought his child died or was permanently injured. It’s so bizarre that he is still holding a grudge. All kids get hurt at some point in their lives, it’s a part of growing up. He sounds like one of those obsessive helicopter parents who go ballistic if someone bumps into their kid.

How did the child get road rash? I can’t find that. But I can say I have 3 boys and my oldest accidentally started my treadmill and fell and got a contact reach from it. It was not that bad but not good either but it healed and you can’t even tell now. (This wan when he was 1 and is not 13).
