Woman Talks About What Happened After She Learned Her Teen Son May Be a Pedophile

Ойын-сауық

“My Perfect Husband’s Secret Life Exposed”
Dr. Phil speaks with the woman behind a viral social media video that has been viewed nearly 3 million times. Brittanie says her perfect marriage fell apart the day U.S. Marshals came to her home, held her at gunpoint, and arrested her loving husband of 10 years. After his arrest, Brittanie says she learned her husband, and father of her two children, had been hiding a deep, dark secret -- he was eventually convicted of multiple sexual crimes. Brittanie claims from the moment her husband was arrested, she uncovered even more troubling details of her husband’s life, including a secret affair with a teenage girl. Find out what Brittanie says this teenage girl told her about her husband, and what Brittanie claims her husband has written to her from behind bars. Plus, Dr. Phil speaks with Kristin, who appeared on Dr. Phil last season, worried her 15-year-old son, Robbie, was a pedophile. Find out what’s happened since the appearance and how Kristin has used her experience to help others. #DrPhil #Season19 (19049)

This woman is a decent balance of logic and emotion. She still loves her child (or least the child he use to be), and wants to get him help. However she is logical enough to know that he is a danger and that she isnt capable of managing the situation but was aware the least she could do is get him in a controlled environment where he cant hurt anyone and to keep her children and other children safe. Most mothers are in denial when their sons are predators, or worst case even enable their sons, meanwhile some others who are aware their sons are predators just kick them out but dont keep them under any supervision therefore letting a monster in the making roam freely to hurt other people. She took the right steps to get him away from the rest of the family and into a space where he cant hurt anyone else until he isnt a danger anymore. Although its unclear when or if that day will ever come.

This woman is terrible. She has her own youtube channel where she gives her unprofessional psychological opinion on matters that are beyond her comprehension and continues to exploit her son for views. I get a very weird vibe from this whole situation. I think the most likely scenario was that he was abused when he was younger and started acting out, including perpetuating sexual acts with other children. I have no doubt that the most attention he has ever had from his family happened after they found out what was happening. It seems like he received more shame than he did help and he has now settled into that identity.

Hm... I've taken a look at the channel. I don't want to be cynical and believe in that scenario. Otherwise, I'll lose hope in the human race. Many people do use their "fame" from the show to try to get a social media career or something. This family in particular has to take care of themselves and their other kids and there's a pandemic, so maybe it's out of a sort of necessity. I'm not going to take the time to find these "unprofessional psychological opinions." All I see is updates on the matter because people are curious. And they're trying to raise awareness on these kinds of issues. That's what I saw from a 5 minute scroll or so, anyway.

@@kaizoku4385 I've sat in on her lives where she preaches was she claims the warning sign of pedophilia are, on of them being treating animals like people. She further listed several warning signs of someone who been molested and attributed those symptoms to someone who will violate others. Speculations of this type are dangerous. So is trying to use your relevance to prop yourself up as an authority. The advice she is giving is not based on sound psychology, nor is she suggesting that professionals gave her this advice, it's based on "gut." Her son is also a victim, and a child, and though what he is going through and done is deeply disturbing, he won't become any less disturbed by a mother whose only attention (publicly, no less) is focused on the most extreme negative aspect of his behavior. She keeps repeating it because the subject matter is so shocking that we won't turn away. She's got us captivated and she intends to take advantage of it. Watch for her book deal.

It’s shows that his parents made him feel comfortable to talk to them about anything, even something so awful. That’s the type of patenting kids need. You discipline and you teach right and wrong, but you don’t shame them. You explain why it’s wrong and teach empathy but don’t create an environment where they don’t feel safe talking to you about problems. Shame makes people do things in secret and they end up harming lots of people before it comes to light.

These parents are so courageous..
