They kept her for 3 more days because they were looking for a reason to make it a valid arrest (searching her criminal record for unpaid parking tickets, warrants, etc) so they could save face.

How does this happen in 2022, in the USA? She remained in jail for TWO WEEKS?! And it wasn't even her?! WTF is wrong with our system? Nobody is held accountable. Why?

To the cops in this video: If you had just done an ID check of the woman you misidentified as the one with the warrant, you would've seen that the one you falsely arrested and kept in jail was NOT the one with the warrant. In my eyes, you all decided to discriminate against an innocent woman, refused to free her for three more days, and kept her from seeing her now-deceaced grandmother who obviously died because you caused the innocent woman's grandmother a lot of stress. So now the innocent woman's grandmother's death is on your hands.
