@Truth never lies 💯 you do realize qualified immunity didnt even exist until 1967. Up to that point for nearly 200 years they didnt have it. Guess what, we had cops then. I'm not saying they shouldn't have it, I'm saying it should just be an exception not the rule. Especially for basic rights. They swear to uphold the constitution and most dont even know the basics. Make them pay for their own liability insurance like doctors, lawyers, and any contractor that works on your home. That would weed out the bad ones. ALOS If they break the law they should be prosecuted not covered up by the good ole boy system

The city is gonna have to cough up 1.5 mil for these two cops screwing up, but they will defend and stand by the laws they broke, I hope this person gets every last penny of that money, how do you continue arresting someone when you do an instant test, plus so desperate to send it to a lab only for the powder to be negative? If it was personally made it was most likely flour!

Well of course that's what always happens when cops are allowed to investigate themselves. They are never wrong. But there leader can be kicked out from the citizens and the city officials. That's how you make them wake up.

As usual the main stream new didn't ask important questions, like who is the magistrate that ruled there was sufficient evidence to jail this person when there was no evidence and who is the prosecutor that let this person rot in jail for 6 months before dropping charges.
