Because years ago, people banned together and thought that mentally ill people were being ill treated, and some of them were and some of the footage that leaked out of the home for the mentally ill really was painful to watch, but a group got together and basically forced Reagan to pass laws to let them live on their ownand we don’t have enough social workers to keep tabs on them and family members can’t keep up with them. Some of these people who are mentally ill connect crimes and this is an example of that how sad😢

Did we place Japanese people in interment camps? Nope!Did we drop an atomic bomb or colonize your native countries? Nope! Did we help change the immigration laws in the 1960s with blood, sweat and deaths so you can flee your failed homelands and enter this country? Yes! I would rather you just said thank you and go about your merry way.
Why not show the perp? Hmmmmm...
Wow. The press is incompetent in their report of the murder of a helpless old woman. More protection for the murdering coward than for her and her family. It doesnt matter how big and pretty the bow is on a piece of crap. You can still smell it.

How do you know it is not racially motivated
Why is no one mentioning the thugs name, as that way people could look up his mugshot and criminal record?
My condolences to this beautiful family. What a tragic way to leave this earth.
Sending prayers to this wonderful family at such a tragic time. They show no anger, very humble people. Rest in peace! SF needs to sweep the streets, clean up what once was a beautiful city.

You all is so eager to know the race of the person . I guess if it turns out to be a white man , then you ok , but if a black man , totally different attitude . This is why people are mess .
No more camping outside! No more debit cards or other public gifts! No more free drug paraphernalia (jfc)! Dealers all in prison or deported.! We tried the fun experiment with anarchy, it didn’t work! Shut it down !

He was mentally ill... Maybe focus your rage towards the mental health system that allowed him to roam without meds. Or the current lack of effort made to establish mental health centers/housing.
So sorry to the family. My condolences.
I'm sorry for your loss. RIP Cora, to the family and friends please accept by deepest sympathy. Condolence from the Philippines.😢
It amazes me how the people in charge of this cesspool still have jobs! I guess that what the people want!
Why is she working at 74? Get Social Security before it runs out, and now the government gets to keep your money.

Because she is from a hard working culture that views welfare and benefits as grift. Much respect to people who work and refuse handouts. Also, listen to the story: she was saving for a home in the Philippines.

People can still work while drawing SS retirement.. Many judges, probation officers usually retire from governments, and are allowed to work up to 6 months of a year which they take advantage.. I retired at age 53 and moved to Southeast Asia, but if I stayed in california, I would definitely work 170 time 6 months out of the year as a probation officer, and not because i need the money, but only because I liked my job, and I would use the money as my "Play Money" as one retirement worker told me many years before I retired, and he taught ESL (English as a Second language)...
My heartfelt sympathy. She was a beautiful aunt n sister With prayers and glorious afterlife for a good soul. Nana in Hawaii
So sorry for your loss. Your aunt sounds like an amazing woman who left her legacy behind through her extended family that she supported and cared for . I was at a Convention in Nov 2023 and came and went from that station on several occasions to and from the Airport as well as other local stops. It was so striking to see such homelessness on the streets downtown as well as people on the trains and within the station who clearly had mental health issues and probable substance abuse problems exhibited at that station inside , outside , and even on the trains in such direct view. As an out of state visitor I could not believe how much had changed from prior visits over the years. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe and could only imagine how local residents who use your transportation daily must feel. You should demand change and accountability. My condolences to your family.
