Woman is in a NURSING HOME and the city POSTED THIS NOTICE in her yard

For 30% off your first order go to protekt.com/sbmowing
The lady that owns this home was put in a nursing home some time ago. Her family comes by every now and again to take care of things but the yard has gotten out of control. The city posted a notice in her yard for the grass being taller than 12 inches, trash accumulation, and to keep the sidewalk/curb clean. I've never met this lady and probably never will, but I hope that she appreciates how her yard looks the next time she sees it!

Idiotic rule in America if you ask me. It should be handled differently. So that indeed your patients and other kind of patients can just focus on recovery. Instead of stressing, and getting a fine + other things. Can't the local government just buy a small fleet of those gigantic mowers you can sit in? Ours have, works fantastically.

Instead of taking pictures with famous KZreadrs, the neighbors should have been helping the lady out with her yard. Even if they didn't want to help, I would have taken care of the yard so I didn't have to look at it. My neighbors ran into a similar issue when the husband drove his truck through the back of his garage. No one could come out for 2 weeks to at least stabilize the structure. So I went to the local lumber yard and built a structural bracing wall inside their garage to hold the roof trusses and side wall up because I couldn't see how badly damaged the remaining structure was. Didn't want to poke because the electrical panel was hanging on by a thread.

It only took an extra hour but at least they wouldn’t have to struggle for hours to do it themselves. Just report it to the county or city and let them handle it. Every situation is different but in the case of this video with the owner in a nursing home and or dead I would help out it only takes a few extra mins, had one of the neighbors just mowed the lawn when doing theirs it wouldn’t have gotten that way and wouldn’t have taken so much time and effort to make it at least manageable. When I was a young mother and homeowner, we had a vacant lot in our neighborhood that sat empty for several years. It was an unsightly mess until we, as home ownners and neighbors got together and cleaned it ourselves, much as you are doing in this video. We then took turns each week keepping the grass mowed. When the house across the street went vacant, I would mow the grass there, too. It was our neighborhood and we all benefitted from keeping things tidy. It amazes me that neighbors will let something like this get so out of control. God bless young people such as yourself! And shame on all the residents around this house for not caring enough about their unfortunate neighbor, and the blight a yard like this casts on their whole neighborhood, to get together and do something about it.

In my country, people tend to move to a more elderly friendly house as they get older. Wheelchair access, shops within walking distance, easy public transport, things like that. Elderly people would not be living in a house with a garden. At least not one they have to maintain themselves. Many nursing homes here even have special care housing around them that for example provides meals from the nursing home kitchen.

Furthermore, if we were to believe the tweakers story why are you trying to shame the neighbors instead of her supposed family which it would've been their obligation to maintain said property. Now the final question, how often do you go out in your neighborhood and do free yard work like you are expecting from the neighbors of this street?
