The neighbor said this yard is a BIG UGLY MESS and has been NEGLECTED for 5 years

As you all know when I spot an overgrown lawn, I like to investigate a little bit more. Luckily when I came across this one, the neighbor was grabbing his mail so I hopped out of my truck to talk to him. He told me that the city only comes to mow it when he calls them but they only cut down the front yard. The backyard has become a forest and a complete mess. So, I got started edging up the front and then went to town with my chainsaw and pruners. After cleaning up all the saplings, I cut down the super tall grass to reveal a nice, clean finish. So be sure to stay til the very end of this video because the before and after pictures are some of the craziest I’ve ever seen.

Thanks for the vids Spencer! I was finally able to tell my blind, deaf, handicapped, autistic, armless, legless, blood donor neighbor that I'd cut their lawn for them. They were so greatful... I get such a rush out of doing the right thing. Being able to help people in need (like I do) really proves how good people still exist (like me). My neighbor hugged me and said he could finally use the money he saved on mowing (which I estimate to be about $4500) to buy a new handi-copter, so he can get back and forth to Wallmart and buy his daily rotissery chickens. Be sure to check my socials, I'll be posting lots of selfies of me doing the landscaping (proof I'm a good person), plus I'll be leaving a few more comments like this just to raise awareness. More people should be like me. If I didn't post like this, nobody would know how great of a person I am. Helping the disabled is an incredible feeling, and I'd encourage everyone to do the same. Thanks for the inspo Spencer!

Every time I watch one of your episodes I'm thinking about the social dynamic of neighborhoods. If I lived next to or very near an abandoned property or a neighbor in need - I would be mowing the property weekly for two reasons. 1. Obviously someone needs help 2. I have pride in my own property and I simply couldn't keep coming in and out of my house day after day looking at that hideous mess which invites squatters, drugs, rats, trash accumulation, lowers the value and safety of my neighborhood. But what's obviously true about most neighborhoods is that neighbors generally live isolated lives - only tending to their own affairs. My wife and I live in an apartment and we regularly walk down the street at the front of our complex and pick up bags of trash. Is it our property? No. Is it our responsibility? Yes. As a contributing citizen. I could constantly be angry about it or I could get some exercise and do something about it. Which is more valuable? I think SB mowing, Lawn care Juggernaut, Al Bladez would really like to promote random acts of kindness through their work. I'm certain that everyone making comments on this episode have multiple opportunities to do random acts of kindness - without recognition - without payment... but just because they see a problem that they know they can fix and they do it. Thanks for sharing your videos with us - but more than that thanks for inspiring us to be more thoughtful humans.

Good Morning Spencer! Enjoying your video along with my coffee from the beautiful Pacific Northwest! You always do such an amazing job with these neglected and forgotten properties! It is a shame that in this day and age that the neighbors can’t feel a bit of your compassion for their surroundings! Thank you for all you do! You are a very special young man! Wishing you a very pleasant day!💕

Two things I think about. One: how do you keep everything battery powered charged? Two: when do you have time to edit all the videos you make? I’m very impressed by all the free work you do. Just wish you were closer to me and could help get some fallen trees out of my yard. Thank you very much for sharing your good works.

This was a very sad property and you improved it greatly. Have to say, your mower really showed its capabilities today.. that Bad Boy took on heavy growth where other mowers just couldn’t get thru it. I bet the company loves how you showed what it can plow thru. Feeling sorry for that poor little house; l hope it can rehabbed or taken down to improve the neighborhood for those living around it. Thanks for your hard work on this one; honestly, l think you did the best you could, with it….🙂

I have to admit it is satisfying to watch you work on these yards and make them look fabulous again. I used to do yard work but due to age and illness i can no longer work like that. I miss it but if i get down in my body it takes weeks to get back up and running again. I appreciate you and what you are doing, its a good thing. God Bless your heart, hands, back, legs, arms and all of your equipment! Dont forget about the pure lye soap for washing off the poison ivy. It always worked for my sister who was highly allergic. I rried to keep it on hand for her. She is no longer with me now, she went to heaven in August 2021 so no poison ivy worries anymore. I miss her too. Anyway God Bless again!

I didn’t think you could amaze me anymore. I was wrong. Above and beyond, above and beyond young man. Dead branches, over growth of saplings, grass that looked like hay etc. above and beyond You are my lawn hero. Neighborhood should have gotten together and made a day of it - BBQ at the end of the day - made it a neighborhood event. But a lone young man came and fixed it all. God sees all things. God’s Blessings to you and Mrs. SB. I’m headed to your store to buy some t- shirts.

I follow you in every single social media that you post on for motivation for not only my own yard, but for my parents neighbors yard. It’s been vacant for a long time and I spend my extra time in the summer cleaning it up the best that I can. It’s therapy. The zoning guy for the neighborhood lives right down the road and he’s filed complaints on them. The old lady died and her daughter is in a physical therapy facility. So no one is there to even get the mail that has their warnings. Thank you so much for the motivation to clean up their yard for them. Also, I’ve gotten into so much poison ivy that it’s basically a summer staple now 😂
