Woman Eats Only MEAT for 13 Years : This Happens (Kelly Hogan Carnivore Diet)

Ойын-сауық

Is eating only meat healthy? Does a carnivore diet promote weight loss?
Todays guest is Kelly Hogan, a 13 year Carnivore, has an important story that you need to hear because it will help you.
Kelly Hogan struggled with weight her entire life. At age 25, she suffered from frequent boils, weighed 262 pounds, and was at a loss of what more to do. Her family physician saved her life by telling her to avoid carbs and eat meat. She lost 120 pounds, was able to conceive and deliver three children. Her mission for the past 13 years has been to share the same message that was shared with her by her doctor and to offer hope to those that suffer from inflammation, sugar addiction, obesity, and diet-related illnesses.

I wanted to thank you both for this video. This was one of the catalysts to going carnivore for me. I’m almost at 90 days carnivore (through the holidays!) with no cheating. I’ve lost 27 pounds, my joint pain is nonexistent, my mood is greatly improved, my skin is improved, I’ve lost 4 inches around my waist alone. My energy levels are amazing! I was drinking 3-4 energy drinks a day (addicted) prior to carnivore. I sleep better, and for the first time in my life, I can eat in moderation and know when I’m full And naturally stop eating. I’m eating anywhere from 1500-3000 calories a day. Carnivore has absolutely changed my life and I’ve even noticed how much more motivated I am and it’s even helping me become more disciplined in other areas of my life. Thank you so much for this content. My husband has had almost identical weight loss and other improvements like resting heart rate went down from 77 to 55, and for the first time he is experiencing improved shoulder movement and less pain (he can put his arm around me now!). ❤❤❤ Kelly you are truly a wealth of knowledge and encouragement. Dr Berry thank you for being more interested in helping people become healthy vs selling meds, and for being a critical thinker vs being brainwashed by the “higher education” institutions. It wasn’t a lie. Medicine is FACT. It’s a SCIENCE. we are learning as we go. Just because the information is different now and it’s being found that hi protein low car is better for us, doesn’t mean they lied. It means that new information has been found. This is exactly what happens with Covid too. They were learning as they went. One week they thot masks were needed. , but 2;weeks later they look at the history and think MAYBE that mask doesn’t help that much. SO they quit prescribing masks. But then the Covid numbers jumped up even higher , so they said masks are needed. That’s how it goes. They don’t know. They don’t have fact book about this shit. Science isn’t absolute. It changes. We change as we learn more.

Feeling sluggish, belly pains, just lying down exhausted after work, etc. 7 days on carnivore and I've lost 6lbs (maybe yeah water weight/inflammation), but haven't been able to lose that much in years! Loose skin and autophagy. Not mentioned is the association between autophagy and sleep \ circadian rhythm. Main autophagy happens for about 4 hours when we are asleep AT NIGHT .after midnight. Best not to eat after 19:00 hours. So you'll realise from that , we are entering a state of fasting. Eating before going to bed including drinking milk prevents autophagy. It's a mitochondrial activity linked in with our wake\ sleep cycle. When you know better you do better. This video is one of the best I've seen on the subject of eating meat only.

I’m 76 woman and did research on carnivore diet after watching a video on it. Been eating meat for 3 weeks now, with eggs, Parmesan cheese, raw milk, seltzer water and I broke down with an apple tart, 1 apple, sour cream, butter, salt homemade crust with minimal raw sugar and today after pain increases in hip area I have very little pain and can walk up steps now without doing one foot at a time. After over 40 years, not exaggerating, my thumbs are not cracking and me picking at them non stop. My son said he never saw my thumbs look so good. I’m hoping, at 76 that other small health issues get better. I weigh only 130, at 5’6”. Never liked meds, aspirin etc. I’m going Carnivore!

Do you have mercury fillings or other heavy metal sources? Fat protects our organs. Find your root causes. I feel best on fruit and raw produce personally. I force myself to eat organic flesh occasionally but every time I have inflammation and infections get worse. I had mackerel yesterday and woke up sore dry inside of my nose. Animal products don't do me any good. Neither do grains or cooked starches, by the way! Look at Sergei Boutenko who healed from type 1 diabetes within less than 1 month on raw food. There are many ways to health. Maybe balance and no junk and grains or corn will heal us besides eliminating chemicals like perfumed things that make us fat and sick!

I love how the carnivore doctors sometimes act like conventional doctors who think medications heal every thing. The carnivore doctors are guilty of the same behavior with meat healing everything and after seven months on strict cornivore I can tell you it doesn't. I watched a KZread channel called kick it naturally where he addressed why someone might NOT be improving on the carnivore diet like most people and for me it's been life changing. Oh btw I listened to Dr. Anthony Chaffee who said you don't need to supplement on the carnivore diet and I ifelt like a truck hit me and couldn't get out of bed after stopping my supplements 😞

@@carolvogelman5261 All B.S. Atkins diet or keto kills ! Why are the main staples of all long lived healthy cultures high carb foods. Keto doesn't cure cancer! The exact opposite is true. Eliminating animal protein and refined junk food does kill cancer! Keto has been known to cause permanent brain damage and heart problems. When Atkins died. It was on the news that his diet killed him. However his wife had enough money and influence to get that news story changed. It's still the same. You can't believe anything the news media says! I cured myself of cancer and arthritis almost 45 years and helped many other people with various health problems for more than 40 years. Keto was never even considered. Most people can't function mentally or physically on Keto more than a couple days. Then they develop brain fog start to lose muscle and immunity function decreases. So please research your story. @@Threadbow thanks. I'm disabled with a spinal injury now. I'll never be a glowing picture of health but my underlying health is great for someone who is partially paralysed. Btw, I was vegetarian/ vegan many years ago when most of that food needed to be cooked from scratch with raw ingredients. So, I did learn a lot about gut health, and combining foods. That's pretty good information, even now. I also stuck to my own funny little intuitive rules about *never eating anything that my grandparents wouldn't have recognised as food* . So, no half-fat foods, no fizzy drinks and no artificial sweeteners. I'd guess that a lot of people who start vegetarianism now might be responding to their bodies crying out for another type of change. If they listen to their bodies, hopefully, they'll be more aware of other changes later. Yes, I did have a lot of B12 shots when I was first ill with ME/CFS but this was back in the days before health professionals acknowledged this as a "real" illness. The only lasting health problem that I have had for nearly 30 years is an underactive thyroid.

Thank you Both of You..for bringing this to public attention. I am an 81 year old rancher . I run a cow calf operation and a background feedlot .. I have raised 5 kids .. I have 25 grands and greats grands . I work full days..usually 7 to 12 hours .. 7 days a week and rarely take time off as it is really hard to get reliable help on the ranch .. and the payback for ranchers andbcowboys doesn't leave money on the table to pay for ANY help let alone help I'd trust with my cows and horses and equipment . I an presently breaking 2 horses for my grandkids and another for myself.. right now my husband and I are finishing up calving our cows out and , branding and vaccinating calves and getting the mama's and babies out to pastures .. We have fencing and Machinery repairs to get through before we start haying..bulls have to go out to breed the cows pretty soon now and that takes some figuring ..which bulls go where..etc ..and then we head into crop harvesting.. cow herds have to be regularly checked and mineral and salt licks replenished . That's pretty much our spring summer and fall .. Then the herds come home and the bulls get separated and the cows and calves go on fall grazing pastures or bales .. and then onto winter holding pastures , before weaning in February in prep for calving again in May . That's been the ritual and routine of my life since 1960 when I married and became a rancher . The point is ..I have eaten predominantlyl meat ever since .. I raised my first batch of kids back in the wilds of BC where we ate what we had and most of that was Deer, moose , caribou, cougar, duck and BEEF when we could afford to butcher our own . .mostly we always ate " off the land ..

Wow! Your life story is truly an inspiration. Living off the land doing hard work everyday is truly life worth living. I never liked city life. Wish I had the means to start ranching even at my age of 67. I have a friend living in South Central Oregon who is 65 now and and does exactly what you are doing. He loves his life there.

I was a merchant seaman for 5 years, and they fed you good. On steak days all I'd eat was steak, no veggies or carbs, just steak. I ate so much steak that the head cook had to go to the captain and say this guy is eating up all the steak. So I was limited to only 5 steaks a night. Wish I could afford to eat like that now.

Hi Dr berry. I go out to eat quite often and I was trying to write down what it was. I could tell the chef at restaurants that I’m allergic to. I know you said vegetable oil what were the other two ingredients that I could have them leave off. Thank you so much for all that you do you’re making an incredible difference for so many of us! I’m one weekend to the carnivore diet and I’ve never felt better in my life. I’ve been on a low-carb diet for a couple years and still never felt great like I do now.

Dr. Ken Berry and his videos saved my life. Will be Carnivore on July 8, 2022 for 2 years. Two years ago I felt like I was dying. 30 days in I was like a new person, 60 days in was even better. 90 days I knew I would had found what I had been missing. And I stuck with it.

Kelly is the reason I went carnivore in Feb of 2015, when she first started sharing her story in keto groups. I was healed of so much in just 6 days. It changed my life! Love Kelly. ❤️

Thank you. This video is hopefully just what i needed. How incredibly refreshing that your video was not a super long video that could not be paused or forwarded and then ask for a bunch of money for supplements at the very end. May God bless you for freely sharing this important helpful information. I'm planning to try it starting now. I haven't been able to lose weight for so long (just turned 60). Hopefully this is the answer. ❤
