    Darren Postin Thanks mate. It hurts losing so late like that but we can't say we didn't have enough warnings. Teams are making a habit of running right through our team without so much as a nudge. I know it may sound a little crass but I would've happily taken a red card for one of our players to have just rugby tackled Traore. But they were all too busy with their hands on their hips 😡 Your lot looking pretty tasty though. A solid game plan, bags of pace and effort.

    Really enjoyed the Vlog Gonzo. However, we're still playing like a group of strangers despite the pre-season and now four matches into this season. It's been disappointing to say the least.Pellegrini doesn't seem to trust some of his players playing in his formations, they don't seem to trust each other, eg Cresswell flapping in exasperation when nobody made a run into the box to get on the end of a cross and now the fans are losing belief and trust in the players as well. It will be interesting to listen to Ped and Baz from Toffee TV, before we play them. about Everton's early start to last season with Koeman and how their big influx of players weren't able to settle. We all know how that ended. I hope Manuel Pellegrini can turn it around, but how will he do it? The only thing in his favour is that he's made bad starts before and recovered, but this is poor

    Wolves were brilliant they were made to look like Barcelona today. Shambolic I don’t know who to blame the players or the manager. The board have done what they promised, but this season I’ve spent a fortune already travelling the country and I’ve not seen an ounce of passion it’s a joke

    our trouble is we haven't got an out and out striker who can score - 2 goals scored in 4 games and one of them was a pen. Can't see us turning it around either - no pressing, tracking back, keep giving ball away to opposition, dawdling on the ball a la Sanchez, no leadership and where are our history banners - still not up in the west stand.

  • @spikehill771
    @spikehill7715 жыл бұрын

    Though I had a chuckle with the fuck off when we scored, I have to say what a brilliant vlog. The problem with West Ham as I see it: You've got a manager who, seems used to being top (At man city) and has taken over a team used to being bottom half or at least taken over a club with a negative mentality from top to bottom. I also feel that the playing style smacked of a top 4 team breaking down a bottom 3 team, except you had no tools to break it down, despite spending £100m. Now spending £100m is a lot, but at the same time, a significant number of teams have spent as much or nearly as much meaning you are still left to compete with the same fodder. I think over time, when you get the good run of games, used to playing with each other, tactically or otherwise you will be alright. This may well be a season of transition, if you can stick long enough with it. No chance you will go down in a league that contains, a poor but fighting Cardiff. A poor, toothless, '2nd season syndromes Huddersfield, and z pick at anyone of Newcastle, Brighton, Crystal 'Zaha' Palace, Southampton and maybe Wolves (🤞 we don't) and I think maybe Fulham. Good luck in the season!

    Excellent Vlog, as always. The eternal dilemma was displayed for all to see. NICE Family day out. Children.Young Ladies etc when added to the fact you are all NICELY seated well away from any "action" on the pitch is NOT a combination for the intense,passionate,feverish atmosphere like, for example, your great comeback v ManU on your farewell game at the wonderful Boleyn Ground. The players are not feeding of any real energy and given there is no particular areas, like The Boleyn, for the passionate to congregate your fans are scatterred all over among families and tourists. The noise was coming from The Away fans who, at least, are all seated together. The Boleyn Bearpit this ain't. Away players love being away from the intimidation of your great fans and on that wider pitch can express themselves. Home players no longer inspired and Refs no longer "Homers" like most teams in tight grounds used to enjoy a la THe Boleyn and The OLD Den at Millwall, which has NEVER been the same over the 25 long years since they left their home for a soulless,sanitised and silent stadium ( comparitively ). If anything, your situation is worse because this is not even in your heartland or, arguably, a real football stadium and as I said 5 months BEFORE your ill-fated move you will need a REALLY good team to overcome this Neutral Venue and 9/10 seasons WHU have been flaky away over the last 50+ years since I first saw them . Let alone this below average squad. Irrespective of the standard of your team you can no longer rely on the 15 points a season that I feel the old ground was worth.

    Those massive flags they wave around the pitch before the start of the game may as well be white. We looked like a beaten before we started. Arnie is a great player, but no captain, he’s too egotistical. Against Everton Anderson needs to be central and Noble needs to start if only for his leadership qualities. Time to man up! COYI ⚒

    The glimmer was the Arsenal game. We haven't kicked on, Wimbledon doesn't count. I appreciate Pellegrini has an idea in his mind of how he wants to play, but the players aren't there yet. Until they get what he wants and it starts clicking, he will need to adjust his tactics and settle on a starting 11. We can't keep chopping and changing and worse sticking players in positions where they are nothing more than passengers. It's no surprise to anyone that Anderson ain't a singer and first half when he was central he was more involved, why put him on the wing second half?

    I'm gutted. But I'm just looking for positives and I'm keeping the faith because it's the only way I feel we can be successful. I wish somebody had rugby tackled Traore and taken the red card. It would have been worth it 60 seconds from time.

    Desperation in starting squad selection,players look unsure of each other & quick to moan...it’s not a case of team working harder but they need to apply smarter well worked out routines & be consistent for the full 90+ minutes!

    Sanchez was at fault for the goal and also seemed to slow the game down too much, there was no crisp passing in the middle of the pitch, and we could not think of a way through their back 5 in a line. Anderson was pulled down about 8 minutes from he end, a professional foul yet Sanchez could not do the same when he lost possession that lead to the goal, it seemed without Noble there was no drive and no nous, so expect Noble to start against Everton.
