Love seeing these vlogs, although it does really make me miss Blighty every time. Watching the games on TV doesn’t do it so it must be the jovial banter, Mike’s glorious attire and lens wipes and everyone getting together on the boats. I miss the ritual of the Saturday afternoon. Anyway, I said quite a bit about the game somewhere else on one of the vids. Cheers Gonzo for filming mate, it does at least bring back some happy memories even though this place could never replace The Boleyn. Cheers all, Si ⚒

The points are awarded at the end of the match, so obviously our views are coloured by that. But contrast the comments of Gonzo and Mike at half time with those at the end. It has to be said that there were SOME encouraging signs in the first half, but we have to tighten up when we don't have possession. Another good performance from Fab, he kept us in the game, but we have to get the CB's working as a pair rather than individuals. I'd be surprised if Sanchez didn't start on Saturday cos we will be defending a lot. I think Lucas should start instead of Chico, with Arnie as #10, and Yarmolenko instead of Anderson.

I was surprised about Noble not taking the penalties, but I just wonder if Pellegrini saw Arnautovic's pre-season form and thought, the sooner he can get his goal tally open, the better that is for the team.
