IMO one of the biggest mistakes of the X-Men First Class era of movies was to not cast someone with an impressive and intimidating voice for Apocalypse. As good an actor as Oscar Isaac is he just was not suitable for the part. Maybe if they had altered his voice in post it would have worked ok. But when I saw the trailer and heard his character speak, it was over. I didn't bother to see the movie in a theater.

As kids anyone who watched this cartoon knew it was awesome. But when we watch it as adults is when we can’t help but notice just how close the artwork is to the comics. We start to notice some of the sensual innuendos in the artwork that we didn’t notice as kids. I mean really, rogue jean and storm’s figures are just ROWR!

Should tell how she really got her flight ability instead of being a mopey woman who's helpless. If y'all read the comics, Rogue got her flight from stealing captain marvels power in a sense. But I doubt we'll get that and maybe we'll get the red head with the suit sans flight and Cajun accent when she speaks

1:30 I just realized this Jean literally tripped and fell for no reason. She wasn't attacked or anything she just fell. It's like the show's was trying to make her incompetent.

Rogue and Apocalypse's voice actors were both brilliant in this! Rogue's voice is used here to convey both humor ("Dang, and I missed it?!"), and earnest poignance ("The Professor was right; You ARE crazy.") and nails both perfectly, and Apoc's voice is dripping with madness, pomposity and malice, truly the voice of a demented would- be tyrant.

I love how Archangel JUST told Apocalypse that he and the other Horsemen were defeated by the mutants. The mutants show up, and Apocalypse laughs and tells the Horsemen to destroy them. Derp...

That singular Rogue frame has done irreparable damage to what people think she's built like in this series.

That thing really grew like three sizes in two frames and then shrank when off screen 😂
