Ойын-сауық

USWA Championship Wrestling - 6/30/90 - WMC
Show open by Dave Brown & Jerry Lawler is missing
King Cobra v Ken Wayne - Jerry Lawler is on commentary. Wayne dumps Cobra over the top rope for a "technical loss" which is a DQ with a fancy new name per the USWA rule changes. Cobra is back to his old outfit as the "Rockstead Crew" is already done as a team apparently.
Ken Wayne interview - Ken wants Jeff Jarrett this Monday and shows an old clip of a confrontation they had a few years ago on CWA TV. Snowman is shown sitting in the audience again as they go to commercial.
Jerry Lawler interview - Lawler goes through his history with Snowman, telling the narrative that the promotion has given Snow everything he's asked for but clearly, the Unified Champ cheated and is unprofessional. Snowman and his new bodyguards give a thumbs down from the audience.
VTR: Jerry Lawler v Leon Spinks - MSC - Snowman is ringside. Spinks wears boxing gloves, Lawler doesn't and they use a round system. Pretty good for what it is. Lawler gets a strong advantage in the 5th round so Snowman gets involved. Spinks is DQ'd as he and Snowman put a beating on the King after the match. The double turn is underway.
Jerry Lawler interview - Monday's showdown with Snowman, who watches on from the audience, will have no referee. Lawler taunts Snowman's entourage as well.
Dave advertises Oakley-Keesee Ford's Price Buster Sale
Snowman interview - Dave offers to let Wayne Bright interview one of the wrestlers. Snowman gets on Bright's case for being on Jerry Lawler's side and for giving the King more interviews on his show than Snowman. Snowman says he's changed his mind about giving Lawler a rematch on Monday night because he looked into Lawler's eyes and now knows Jerry is a loser.
Snowman v Tim Hall - The turn continues as Snow quickly beats Hall then continues the attack after the match. He glares at Wayne Bright after the match.
Dave & Wayne run down Monday's card - They announce no more beer sales at MSC to make it more family friends and will have extra security. The crowd boos.
VTR: John Tatum v Bill Dundee - Dallas - Tessa has left Tatum for Dundee and Hollywood John is trying to prove he's a changed man. He works a clean match and wants to shake hands several times during the bout. However, when Tessa gets bumped and isn't looking, he waffles the Superstar with a chain to win the Southern Title.
VTR: Bill Dundee & Tessa interview
VTR: John Tatum interview - This is cut with various clips of John hugging people to show he's a nice guy now.
Dirty White Boys v TD Steele & Ken Raper - Dirty White Girl is ringside. Jerry Lawler has rejoined commentary.
VTR: Dirty White Boy v Bill Dundee - MSC - Dirty White Girl breaks up a pinfall leading to a, as Joey Styles would later scream, "catfight" type tussle between White Girl and Tessa.
VTR: Dirty White Boy & Dirty White Girl interview - They're in the locker room and the entire video is White Girl yelling at Tony about how much she hates Tessa. Tony tries to calm her down promising over and over again that they'll get both Tessa & Bill Dundee back.
VTR: Bill Dundee & Tessa interview
Dirty White Boy & Dirty White Girl interview - She's fuming mad and screaming. White Boy yells at her to calm down. Shockingly, that doesn't seem to work.
VTR: Bill Dundee & Tessa interview - Bill talks about his "Lights Out" Match on Monday with Dirty White Boy. Tessa promises violence if Dirty White Girl gets involved.
Dave promotes this week's tour - Jerry Lawler talks about a kid being treated for cancer at St. Judes, again working on turning back face.

Lawler could work with anyone in the ring. He’s absolutely one of the greatest. Really believable interviews!

The Lawler/Spinks match must've been one of the earliest UFC-type events.

It's sad that all these young guys starting out in the late 80s and early 90s are gone. Gaylord, Maggs, King, Doll, all passed away.

Lawler was one of the best at selling, and throwing punches. Everything looked legit in this match.

No beer sales and extra security at the Mid-South Coliseum? I'm guessing there were some crowd-control issues...
