Anette Askvik has been described as «a Norwegian treasure who sings like an angel. Her songs will haunt you after only one listen.» Anette weaves mysterious melodies that are a curious blend of pop, rock, jazz, folk, electronica, and classical music.
In 2011 she released her debut album «Liberty» on her own label; «BIRD». On the recording she collaborated with producer and pianist Øystein Sevåg, Audun Erlinen on bass, Rune Arnesen on drums, Petter Wettre on saxophone, the string quartet Katharsis among others.
