Thanks. What a superb song it is as well.
Thanks for the guide, I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiments on this song. Such a thoughtful arrangement, deceptively simple.
Thanks so much! Really great to hear how you talk about the notes themselves, pointing out what bits make the song so strong. Nice one.
Really really great tutorial. Easy to follow and informative. Thank you.
Great demo, just saw them live and need to learn this song. Thanks 🍻
I recently discovered the National , I saw them in support of their last two albums . Sadly they did not play this song either time . Great job of explaining ! you even covered the second guitar laying behind the beat . Thank you so much .
I'm just learning the guitar from scratch. But it motivates me alot to have my favourite songs explained in such a great way! Thank you :)
What a lovely tutorial, I really like your calm voice and explanation. Will be trying this out, thanks a lot :)
Great job. Really well-explained.
Love it! I can finally play and sing a song at the same time.
Cheers for that, really good.
Thanks for the great little tutorial!

Nice job, man! Would you consider making a tutorial for 'This is the Last Time'. I cannot find anything decent online
hi, this is amazing! love how you kept it simple, it's a really beautiful arrangement. could you write down the chords you used, please? i'm not from usa and english is not my first language, so i can't understand too much from the audio. thank you so much in advance! :)
It’s funny, every other lesson I have seen of this made it a lot more complicated and added a lot of extra notes! I never thought they sounded quite right! I had Kinda worked it out myself but this lesson had made it a lot clearer! Now I have to retrain my brain to re-learn it :)

David Bailey Thanks for your nice comment!

You are welcome . I found adding the hitting the d string quickly after the hammer on from the high e to the b string also sounds pretty cool! Needs to be pretty quick before the bass line though !

Sorry again... quick question but what type of effect do you think they use on the live recording? Heavy reverb or ?
good vid
Great lesson. I alwyas used to play the two top string of the chords, but it sounds a lot better when you use the D-string .

Thank you, Jan.
Great video man. Could you suggest me a guitar?
If you're still alive do more tutorials for The National.
Can we have tabs for this? Cannot quite follow how you're shifting from chords to individual strings

I'm not sure how to create tabs to be shared. Any ideas?
What F are you playing there? I’m new to guitar and am struggling with that bit. Could someone help with the fingers and frets x

I would like to know as well
what guitar is this?
видео очень классное, но я не понял порядок игры на струнах...
!!!
You are missing the descending line.

(Although technically it might be delay on the recording, it can be encapsulated by descending the aroeggiation)
you really should've explained the strumming pattern, that's a pretty important part.
