I dont know much about cooking, but i know you should start cutting from the middle next time you will get perfectly symmetrical squares. My eyes were glued.

Son elaborados artesanalmente se podría decir por éso no importa la perfección en éste caso pero sí fuese para producción industrial te creo qué debería cortarlo de manera perfecta simetría ya para la venta masiva al público.

Tried it 5 times. Surprisingly mixed results: attempt 1: Did not turn brown. Made some good icing though. attempt 2: Delectable, but not very stretchy. attempt 3: Didn't solidify. Could spread it on toast. attempt 4: Was really hard and crunchy this time. attempt 5: Also spreadable, but with less of a "jam that tastes like caramel" texture, and more of a "caramel sauce" kind of texture. Also don't use wax paper, it sticks like nothing else. -Yo'ster

you don't need any units, just follow the 2:1 ratio and eyeball the butter proportionally.
