Oh man that's incredible!🤯 Patiently waiting for the parts list! I have a '24 Wired Cruiser and a lot of time on my hands which is definitely a dangerous combination for me😅! I also have a '24 Freedom but was run off the road 2 weeks ago by a distracted driver, so I now have up to 12 months of recovery to dream up ideas for my Cruiser! My Freedom unfortunately sustained some damage in the accident which is why I now have the Cruiser. Keeping a positive attitude though! I'm determined to get out there and ride again by summer! 💪 This is just a bump in the road! Pun intended! Love your videos brother!

I just got mine yesterday. I can't get off of it. PSA: It's a HUGE bike, videos and pics simply cannot capture its actual size. No complaints personally, I'm 6'5 and even installed a 2 inch stem riser, I feel like a kid on it! If you're on the fence, just pull the trigger and get this thing.

You can use just 1 pas, 1 display and 1 throttle for two controllers and two motors. With one battery inline, you just need to connect on throttle both sensor wires on a 3way switch before throttle connection ,and connect both negs together to make 1, use 1 power wire for direct 5v to throttle. With Display : connect 1 power wire from controller to display, and both negs to display, match both uart in and out wires to each controller(IE: example both blue from both controllers twisted together to the one blue on display ) . And then do thru display reprogramming the setting to the way you like, be sure to have the display reset to factory settings before setting up. I have a few videos of one I built this way with a 1000w rear direct drive hub and a 1500w front direct drive hub, using 2 40A 48-72v controllers and 1 throttle w/regen ,and 1 sw900 display . No pas was available with the controllers i used.

Going up hill on my ecell super monarch awd. I have to literally stand up and pedal, and it's a beast to pedal.

an increase in acceleration makes ebikes much more fun.

I have a few questions about my 2024 freedom Your thoughts on the rear gear set its different from the 2023 also the Kenda Tires they Have a Max presure 30 psi last year's tires are 20 psi and seem like they are softer compound. also my wired had 4.9 miles on speedo out of the box everthing was freshly packaged do you see this with your new purchased bikes Lee

Oh man ," U R The Man" I have been contenplating doing this because my top speed after 9 months has leveled off to around 33 - 36 mph . Hopefully you'll get at least 5 or 6 mph faster and if so I'll be doing the same . I was considering doing a shunt mod but was not wanting to mess with the controller in case it overheated . I'm targeting acceleration and hillclimb power, not top end speed. But having dual motors will take stress off the rear motor possibly allowing you to go a few miles an hour faster.

Can you set up the front controller to gradually feed in the power? Maybe starting at 400 watts off the line, getting to max at 10 mph, or whatever your testing shows to be more usable?

How did you get the second Wired Freedom display? Or was that a special deal for you?

Dude PAS 5 and run on the peddles it's an easy 40+ mph bike. Throttle only doesn't give full power. You'll notice when you're in PAS 5 and peddling doing 40 if you apply the throttle it actually slows you down.

I heard if you use the brake it slows down too

I would wait a couple seconds before hitting the front motor to prevent the wheel spin. You would probably take off faster that way.

You just gave away Wired Freedom's secret weapon to keep their bike selling for the next year. Wired Freedom is already building a dual motor Freedom to keep up with the competition. Let's wait and see......

My orange Wired Freedom just arrived as well! Also minimal box shipping damage, so I'm glad I elected to not pay the shipping insurance. As the UPS guy wheeled the box to my garage, he mentioned that I would enjoy my new TV! I had to explain to him that it was an ebike, and the TV picture on the box was to encourage fragile handling of the box. He then mentioned that the box seemed very heavy (120 lbs) for a TV 😄 I guess the picture on the box does seem to work.

Is there a reason why you couldn't splice into the original throttle and display wires and eliminate the need for two of everything? Possibly even use the front/rear/dual switch from something like the grizzly?

Yes you can certainly connect everything together however The drawback is you are messing up all your bikes original wiring. Plus having both Motors connected to one throttle I find way more dangerous, the front motor can kick in when you're not expecting it. I've ridden many all-wheel drive bikes And that is certainly their downfall, unexpected front wheel engagement.

Can you put a mid drive motor on wired freedom?

If memory serves me right, the new Freedom is about a second faster up the hill than your Varla Eagle One Scooter!

Hi Citizen Cycle Dude, I want to buy one but another video of the rear shock configuration shows it to be very underbuilt. What are your thoughts on this? I'm kinda thinking this reviewer knows what their talking about in case you haven't seen it. Wired Freedom defects. I definitely don't want a sloppy ebike. If you want more of a pedaling workout then you could switch to torque sensor but otherwise i would leave the cadance.

They’re hub motors..the gearing is all internal. If you wanna deal with gearings you need a mid drive

I bought a dual motor e-bike that is just fine, and it only has one display. It can be switched from front wheel drive only, or rear wheel drive only, or dual motor drive. There's no need to go through all that modification on a Wired Freedom and have two displays that look just playing silly.

Well a non geared front hub 3,000 nominal watt 60V and 40 amp controller should do higher speed perhaps.

This mod just makes it accelerate faster correct, it doesn’t make the top speed higher does it?

If you have a fat tire bike , then the parts i'm using should work for yours too.

The range is atrocious tho. This bike is a UNIT! I recieved mine 2 weeks ago and I would only do a shunts mod. I'm not tryna add more significant weight to this bike. It's pretty much faster than most other ebikes on the market. Don't tell your local bike shop this bike goes over 28mph otherwise they will not touch it.

The Citizen build is crazy, mf put a 100 amp controller on his, can't even put power down on it without wheelies lol I can tell you're also a fan of TailHappy tv, similar feel in your delivery, just started being interested in the electric scene myself a few months back, I'm looking to learn to build and modify on my own down the road, was going to buy the Billie Goat V2 to modify till the bastards leaped up the price while i was saving for it, just getting a Tif Galop K8 scooter to get around for now and preordering the Aima Hyhawk when it releases in 6 months, my wind up modifying that one down the road 🥹
