I installed window visors in my 2020 Subaru Crosstrek without putting on the clips but relying only on the the stickers. After one month, one of the back door window visor went-off while we are traveling and lost it. Subaru never gave installation manual with the visors. Now, I have to purchase again and because of your video, I can install it correctly. Thank you

Glad I could help , bummer you lost one . Also make sure to clean well and apply light amount of heat . Don't burn it

there was another video on here on how to do these and that dude never showed how to attach the clips, im really glad you showed that part! this was very informative and i cant wait to do mine this week, thanks for the vid and cant wait to see what else ya do :)

Thank you for the video! Its the same for a 2021 Impreza. Although found out you don’t have to pull the rubber seal coz the clip clings on the outside portion of it.

I just rec'd a set of these for my 2017 Impreza Sport and I can't believe for $110 Subaru can't be bothered to include instructions or alcohol wipes in the box. I know it's not that complicated, but damn that's cheap of them. Thanks for the video!

Just to confirm, there are no clips for the back? Thank for this! I’ll be installing hopefully tonight on my Impreza!

I knew I installed them wrong. Kind of hard to do when they don't give you all the parts. Second only to the company that I got the headlights for my civic from. Included some proprietary fasteners, but didn't send the proprietary bolt or screw that goes in it. So I just made my own.

Supposed to have clips back there also(on the back window, both sides - driver and passenger). They can fall off if relying on the sticky tape alone, use the clips provided if they are there on your set.

I like this install video. I would love to see a b role with some music or a walk around at the end to show off the finish products.

Thanks for the video actually showing how the clips are working. It was the only piece I didn’t 100% picture from the Subaru pdf. Also, did you miss your clips on that passenger rear window? If so, how’s she doin’ 3yrs later?

This doesn’t make sense, you said the clips you snap them onto the actual window, but then 20 seconds later you snapped him on the actual visor, which one is it?

The clip has to be secured to both the visor and the vehicle to be of any use. You snap the clip to the visor and then clip it to the window. Watch the video. This couldn’t be more obvious.

Do you find it to be pretty loud when your sunroof is open? The wind makes mine almost unbearable and I can’t tell if it’s normal or not

I bet they are all pretty much exact ..same concept forsure some things may be slightly different

I have an outback wilderness, I installed mine but then the windows wouldn’t close. I had to take it off and it ended up breaking 😖 any ideas?

I wash my car every single day ..they will not come off if cleaned installed properly..3m tape same stuff that holds most of trim piece and fender flares on

You forgot to put the clips on the passenger back window.

If anyone is trying this on a newer Outback, I just did a 2023 and it's basically the same - the clips now come attached to the new F001SAN000 parts (outback). I had issues with the windows 'Anti-pinch' safety not wanting to shut one window after install, and had to try to squeeze the inside of the clips tighter into the channel, just running my index/thumb thru the channel and pressing like hell - that worked, and it didn't happen again. The install manual is here btw: subaruonlineparts.com/docs/F001SAN000.pdf

My dumbass didn’t use a instal vid and didn’t notice the clips until I installed mine. I lined them up and slapped them on. They work fine without the clips. 🤷🏻‍♂️
