yeah youtube likes to add an HTTPS:// in the front of links for some reason. If you just type in Honorableswords.com it works.

Peter hated both sides of politics and thought they were both dumb as fuck including you for thinking that Peter was a conservative lol. Anyways, hating women has nothing to do with being a conservative too. And the song you refer to "male supremacy" is not about hating women. Listen to the lyrics closer next time.

You still need to cover Walk like an Angel of Death. A random Peter Steele story. A girl i knew really got into Peter Steele around the Bloody Kisses album. He posed for Playgirl. The magazine was sold out but someone had it so we could borrow it to make a poster out of the best picture which was Pete in full glory. I had to pick up the thing at the print shop. Back then were only open late 1 day in the week. It was crowded so i had to wait a bit. I gave them the receipt. Then he wanted to show it before i paid so i could check the quality and i was fine with that since i actually knew what was coming up. It was a rather large and pricey print so lets check. They needed two guys to unfold it properly and when they had done so everyone in the shop was staring at Peter Steele in full glory including the bit usually behind the bass. All the heads turned. Everyone stopped talking. So i told the shop guy that it looked fine. Still one of my favourite shopping errands.

Drab four meets fab one XD

One thing these covers have done is shone a light on just how incredibly structured these songs are/were in the 90s. Having a female vocalist singing this has turned Type O into some kind of shoegaze/Kate Bush style ethereal wonder and it sounds incredible.

Most of the covers are from incredible songs. From 70s Rush to 90s typo to 80s ozzy and danzig to tom petty. Great songs. But then arrangements are insane. Jordan gets by acting like a jack of all trades court jester type when the reality is that he is a genius on so many levels its embarrassing. Kids got so much talent

@@Beardodoomus at everything. First thing I noticed was kinda showing me behind the curtains was the crazy train arrangement. Its damn near impossible to change a classic like that amd stick it. And ye sticks it. His guitar playing is above avg to really really good and tasty. His comedy chops are fuxking epic. Punisher 66 is funnier than anything snl has done in decades. The graphics. The guest. His fucking bromance with Brodsky who himself is top teientalwnt when he wants to be. Fuck it's frustrating. Give them a Netflix show or another streaming platform. Give them a Lollapalooza type festival tour or bonaroo sized band fest weekend. The talent is immeasurable and just the folks he surrounds himself with shows you how good he is at producing and getting shit done. Ok I'm done fanning out for today

WOW. This is sincerely one of those super rare performances that is just about on par with the original. Like Type O’s cover of Cinnamon Girl, or Bauhaus’ cover of Ziggy Stardust. Amen on Leanne’s guitar melodies being next level.

Went in cautiously excited with high expectations...you all delivered. This was great. R.I.P. Peter Steele.

Dorthia is the shit, i worked with Windhand doing FOH for them some time ago and during line check her only request was "send me into space" aka adding a shit ton of reverb and delay to her vocals

I doubt there's anything that Dorthia couldn't sing incredibly. She could cover a jingle for Red Lobster and own it.

long time, first time and all that. I designed the first TON website and ran it for a couple years as well as worked at RR when SD&H came out. this was awesome! Good choice of Type O songs. Oh! Jordan - White Zombie got dinged on the first advance of La Sexorcisto with all the movie samples, according to what I was told, he had to go into the studio and re-create all of them for the final album. I think I have the original advance tape somewhere (dunno where) prob. next to my Repulsion version of SD&H. Thanks for making neat stuff - Hey Smo!

I didn’t know the original version, so I had to work backward, but this cover is fantastic. All aspects are spot on. Lisa’s screaming but lowered vocals in the mix are such a great touch.

One of my top 5 favorite bands of all time. Saw them 13 times live from 1997-their last tour. They were great in the 90s and early 2000s. When Peters addiction got bad so did their live shows, but their last tour was actually quite good and they sounded much better, sadly Josh wasn't a part of it. I enjoyed this cover, one of my least favorite songs by them, but the cover is good and unique.

The Carnivore and early Type-O records were more Sabbath meets NYC hardcore, but Peter most definitely intentionally wanted the goth label. You get way more chicks at goth shows than hardcore ones.
